I guess I was thinking of Cold War era stuff there but obviously the Puma fills the same role as the BMP-3 IRL, you can thank Gaijin for making it worse somehow.

Exactly and it’s a worse bmp3 we have in game just has the benefit of being fast but lack of gunners thermals and it’s better armoured but meh we don’t know how much

Every complaint I’ve heard about the Puma boils down to either inaccurate armor, bad postpen damage, or unusable Spikes, all three of which sound like Gaijin’s fault to me.

Idk much about bmp4 but it has a HP/t of 40 while being more armoured

Puma is basically that it’s 1 overtiered the armour doesn’t work well, muss is literally useless, the gun is fine 30mms could do with some more spall line they used too and ofc just spikes being spikes
At the end of the day I don’t think Gaijin is willing to let a lot of IFVs be meta at BRs above 10.0 lol, and it seems without a NATO 30mm buff we’re not getting anywhere until 50mm or larger comes into service.

Well the 122 but still Germany only has 1 12.7 no the PSO and 2a6 arent 12.7s
one of the actually well though out russian IFV options, it’s saddening how a tank like this got grinded in the corruption cycle between development and tests, the low velocity 57mm is a really potent and actually good gun, having it in game with a 30mm would be absolutely silly…
