I know your message is a bit old, but i’d like to say, 2A6A3 would be nice to have in the same way as the M1A2 and then M1A2 SEP, having 2A6 platform and mobility with better optics compared to jumping straight to 2A7 - 2A8 (i’m going to continue ignoring the mismodeled mess that the PSO is.), Bonus points if it’s foldered incase someone doesn’t care for it.
Bonus bonus points if both 2A7A1 and 2A6A3 are added, can never have enough Leopard’s :p
Personally i just want to see the Leopard 2K line filled out with some of the prototype/demonstrator Leopard 2’s, EX, TVM (and maybe the 2A7+, i just love how that one looks) as that’s the logical place for them to go

Like ron said I think it’s to train locking, only has the ir seeker and not the rest of the missile. But the plane itself is compatible with basically everything the others F1 are. Just doesn’t have internal guns but that could be fixed by centerline gunpods
Gajin royally messed up the leopard lines imo so switching it would be difficult now lmao but 2a6ma3 (for infantry) and 2a6a3 would be really cool to see and I fully agree Gajin has wasted so much of cool leopard on not adding demonstrators like the 2a5tvms 2a6exs (hopefully soon tho) 2a7+ both with and without the Pso kit.
2a7a1 would be nice to see for a start with active leopards with hopefully the leopard 2 awiss and leopard 2 MUSS
I mean there’s still all like 17 of the other leopard 2 Protoypes with a lot being unique and available imo for the game

The only fun part is how I now associate certain in-game PFPs with specific people, which is somewhat funny.
But yeah, would be nice to properly tell people apart again.

Personally i doubt it’s too beyond repair, more radical TT shifts have occurred in the past, and it’d be better to fix it sooner than later, but generally though they can just use the Leopard 2K line as the one to continue the “Prototype / Demo” tanks on, while the improved 2A6 platform variants foldered onto the existing 2A6 / 2A7 / etc.
For 2A7+ i personally hope they let us take the PSO kit on / off as it looks nice with both and it’s been seen with both, like the TUSK kits on M1A2 SEP’s

I didn’t say it was just said it would take time for them to sort it out and figure out what to add to fill the gaps like moving the Pso under the 2k
Agreed tho the leopard 2k line should be for German Protoypes and tech demos like the tvms and 2a6exs along with many others
2a7+ imo should be 2 separate modifications with and without the Pso kit as to bulk up the German top tier armour where it’s lacking top tier armour apart form a7V being the only Leo with reliable armour unlike with swedish with a few 122s
