I have little reason to take the given reason at face value.
This is the same company that made the M8 LAC an event exclusive US vehicle, only to make it a Chinese reserve vehicle that you get just by installing the game.
This is the same company that, literally just 4 months ago, added the Merkava Mk.1 to the Israeli tree despite it previously being an event exclusive US vehicle.
They’ve pulled exactly what I’m proposing before, “devaluing” past event vehicles, but both examples are still more valuable than the H-75A-2 is today, which is only $10-11 on the marketplace. It’s safe to say what little value it has, both in figuratively and monetarily, has little to do with its uniqueness, since you can already play two very similar vehicles at more reasonable BRs in the French tree anyways. Its value comes from the nation it is under, meaning that copies added in the future would not hugely devalue the “German” version.
I can still understand not putting it in the Finnish subtree since, at its core, its just another copy paste captured vehicle. But it should absolutely be in the French tree since it was a variant unique to France first and foremost prior to its capture, making France the defacto most entitled nation to it. It’s almost the exact same situation as the Merkava Mk.1. Like the Merkava Mk.1, its addition to France actually serves a purpose: to fill a BR gap in the tree, specifically the one that exists between the H-75A-1 and A-4 in realistic battles. If it wasn’t unreasonable to expect Gajin to add the Merkava Mk.1 to Israel, then its not unreasonable to expect them to add the H-75A-2 to France.
That’s all I’ll say on the matter since I don’t wish to derail this thread any further.
So nothing stated here disqualifies it from being added to France at least. If, at minimum, it’s added to France some day, I’d be happy.
And then I would never play it ever…
While there’s nothing too exceptional about the plane frankly, I’m just passionate about nations getting their domestic designs and modifications represented.
That was kinda my point I hate exclusivity I can link the part where he mentions the reddit thread as that is where the whole devalue term came from. That post I’m pretty got nuked but I can try to find it.
Again my biggest gripe is mainly with something like KV-1B which has a better spot to fill than the KV-1A, Sweden literally has 1 4.7 tank the KV-1A and a SPAA that’s more TD than SPAA. The KV-1B is 4.3 and wouldn’t over tier the lineup nearly as bad. Not to mention it’s a bit aggravating how every time Finland gets something unique they sell it to us not that it’s even slightly accurate it’s always so poorly modeled that it makes me believe their personal bias against Finland isn’t just a meme lol
