Ye, seems like it. Now that submarines are confirmed to be in plans, I hope they add anti submarine weapons for things such as helicopters and planes too, especially if we get more modern subs with anti ship/aircraft missiles, I really like the combat in sea power.
But definitely something interesting is coming this year, especially looking at these Q/A answers. I am betting on subs and ship to ship missile proliferation.
Q: Are there any plans to implement naval for China, Sweden and Israel in 2025? A: No, in 2025 we plan to focus on the logical completion of Bluewater fleet trees by adding the most famous and powerful battleships. In parallel, we’ll work on the implementation of other types of ships and weapons that are not yet presented in War Thunder.
Q: Submarines were tested some years ago. Are there any plans to add playable Submarines to naval battles, or in some form to the game? A: Yes, we have plans for playable submarines, but no further details on this yet.
I would be playing naval nonstop if the naval gameplay was anything like first person’ish sea power.
In 1959 Finland bought two IL-28s from the USSR, one standard bomber variant and one R i.e. recon variant. With one more order for two R variants later on.
They were perfectly well suited for Finnish Air force needs which were primarily, recon, mapping, aerial radiation measurement and maritime recon.
What I am suggesting here is that the baseline bomber variant is added for Swedish tree after Saab 105G since thats the bomber/strike line.
Now some might comment about the fact that Finland didnt utilize freefall bombs on these. Well yeah, neither did Germany and we are WELL past the line where that actually matters for WT.
I’m just curious but why do China and Russia make these very similar MBT designs instead of just refining one design. Not hating on any one just curious
