Looks strange in this form, looks like a mix between the Bumerang and BTR
the F-16 AFIT 1991/1992 modification
effectively a early F-16A that was upgraded to the modern standard of the early 90s equipped with IRST (1992) or 2 of them depending on which year you look at
I’ve seen a few claims that the bulges at the wing roots are built in pave spike pods but I’ve seen nothing to confirm this
after 1988 the AFIT program switched from aircraft stability to a close air support test program which started in 91 of which it lost the additional vertical stabilizers as shown below
F-16 with dorsal fins will make me grind US planes again
that was before it was handed back to GD for repairs, i was more interested in the 91/92 modification as shown in the top 3 images
All F-16s are accepted over here! I just find the F-16 pic below cuter

their Falcon Knight dual FLIR system sensor pods , wich is a one-of variant of the AN/ASQ-153 Pave Spike pod , but technically and fonctionnaly not exactly the same thing
