While I support the Baltics going to Sweden, I believe the best Helis they have to offer is the Uh-60 (plus Mi-8 though I’m not sure which variant) and I don’t believe either have been locally upgraded either.

It participated in exercises, and the Army has placed orders for 29 units. Not in service yet but already flying even with live ammo if iirc

We need to see AW-249 next update to be honest, Italy and Sweden will be really the only nations without a proper top tier heli.
(No I am not counting AH-129D because it’s incredibly mid)

Just to be clear, there are 2 types of I.A.R.330 Puma that War Thunder could accomodate, the I.A.R.330L Puma series and Puma SOKAT:

As far as I know, the L series lacks any modern electronic equipment like Thermals and NVD or Laser Warning System / Radar Warning System, being the second attempt at creating an attack helicopter besides I.A.R.316 in the 1980s, same armament access to 316 but with a better engine and weight carry capabilities. Ohhh, and since the weight was increased it was equipped with 23mm cannons as well.
Also Gaijin could add the I.A.R.316 for Italy as an early helicopter for Romanian sub-tree (right now it’s a French premium which is sold only on limited ocasions):

A upgraded F-5 Freedom Fighter/Tiger II done by SOGERMA (Now Stelia Aerospace), a aeronautics firm based in France for the Royal Moroccan Air Force. Morocco used F-5A’s, B’s, E’s & F’s prior to the modernization package done from 1998 up to 2004. The upgrades includes the following
- Head Mounted Display
- A Grifo Radar, more specifically the Grifo F/X plus
- Improved RWR & A different CM setup including the ability to use ECM
- A new mounting pylon for the AN/AAQ-28 Litening. It also means it can use Guided bombs such as the Paveway bombs
- More recent versions of existing weapons for existing weapons such as up to AIM-9M’s for AAM’s (can also use AIM-9P’s & L’s) and AGM-65D’s G’s & H’s
If France should had a Premium F-5 it should have being this instead of the NF-5A or the very least the F-5TIII two seater variant since the upgrades were done by the French. Would also greatly compliment Moroccan Alpha Jets (which were based off of the French E variants) btw Moroccan Alpha Jets can use Maverick AGM’s as well as the Modernized Mirage F-1’s known as the “MF2000 ASTRAC”
