A nuclear carrier would probably gap any dinky little floating helipad that would barely qualify as an LHD. And if anything, nuclear ones are the least generic since only 2 countries have them
literally none of that matters.
a heli carrier isnt in game yet and american carriers are slapped into far too much for it to have any cool factor left.

Its a spawn point that will be moving at 30 knots it does not matter if its as big as your nations average belt size. having something that isnt in every single generic aircraft carrier piece of media is more special

It has a large deck which makes it nicer to land on. Angled too, so you can take off and land 2 plane in very quick succession

They should improve the implementation of aircraft carriers then. It’s already useful, if you want to land on a carrier. But they could make it a more viable option of course
honestly just making arrestor hooks less jank would fix things more than a massive deck would.
plus the Liauling and Garibaldi have a ski jump which instantly makes them an S+ tier

MAGIC CARPET on the modern US carriers would also be really nice and make the Super Hornet sort of relevant in sim when it comes.
