R-74M is presumably the modernised version of R-74?
i think so , im not sure but iirc r74 is the same as r73m ? but both of them did not enter service.
It’s an improved variant of the R-73M
Yet the R-77…M is improved
Ak-74M is improved
R-37M is improved
T-90M is improved
Way to keep it consistent Russia
mproved no i
these might be too advanced for the game but would be cool to see
I think S-350 have all but replaced the BUK systems which would explain why we have seen a handful of BUKS.
R-74M… what’re you even saying
R-74M is not the improved version of R-74
“It’s an improved variant of the R-73M”
Why not just call it R-74 then
Because the R-74 was abandoned in the 90s
Is there any definite info abt the R-73M? All i know about it is that it was tested in the 1990s, and that its an improved base R-73…
its gets a better seeker(more flare resistance) + bigger gimbal.
Don’t have any primary info on r73m, but it was definitely a project
S.E.535 Mistral, French modification of the Vampire with a RR Nene engine giving 61% more thrust. Would add some needed diversity to the French rank 5
Turns out it got accepted in 2023 for consideration, I think it would be a good addition for USA’s SPAA line
maybe it could be 10.3/.7 in terms of BR
GET READY FOR GREATEST SUGGESTION OF ALL TIME!
Bf 109F-4 and Ju 88 (JU-88 IS A BOMB, GUIDING BY BF-109 TO THE TARGET)
INTERNET:
"At a certain point, the pilot in the upper section should point the set against the target, separate the planes and let the gyroscopes guide the bomber to the target. About 250 sets were manufactured by the Nazis, most of them pairing an Fw 190 or Bf 109 fighter with a Ju-88 bomber, whose frontal section was loaded with two tons of explosives. Germany also designed other Mistel, forming sets between Ta 152, Ta 154, Me 262, Ar 234, Ju 287 and Do-217 planes.
Still, the Mistel had limited use and success. An example was the attack against a bridge over the River Oder in 1945, when the Red Army was already advancing into German territory. To stop Stalin’s troops, the Lutwaffe attacked a bridge captured by the USSR, but the operation did not destroy the structure, delaying the movement by just one day. "
I’ve never heard of this. It’s pretty awesome and creative. Definitely needs a suggestion.
it’s strange for you that not knowing this, it’s really famous
