AAM implies it’s a plane
It can if it can intercerpt A2G missiles
If you can only play defense, you are playing to lose.
bruh I have a decent amount of ground kills with the LAV-AD so it can be offensive as well
I think I misunderstand where you think this would be effective, what br would you want it at? I do not think it would be anything close to effective as a top end SPAA.
the BRRRT can side pen any tank in game
But it cannot engage top end cas platforms who are firing off ATGM’s from over 12km away.
dont need to if it can just intercept anything fired at it lol, and that’s kinda its job anyways
Try to intercept 6 MT’s at once in the spaghetti code of War Thunder and tell me how that’s an effective long term solution.
Try to intercept 6 MT’s at once in the spaghetti code of WAR THUNDER
WAR THUNDER =/= REAL LIFE
So what IDC it looks cool who cares if its that useful if it works it works
this + search radar = 12.0 material apparently
and auto-tracking
The RADAR’s in the CIWS/Phalanx are pretty money. Had the fun of playing with the system. I really hope to see the ground version in-game. My baby but sea version…
…I remember doing maintenance on that exact fire hose when I was ER09.
Do you mean the CIWS or the actual fire hose?
Oh look a civilian airliner… you know you wanna do it.
Bell 407M Special forces
hell yeah spec opps kiowa!
I did maintenance on both, on literally both those pieces of equipment (the ship in the pic is my old ship) lol. We go “TAD” or get assigned temporarily to Repair division for doing maintenance on fire fighting equipment for like 6 months before coming back to our own division. I’m not a CIWS tech but I’ve helped a lot on it and got qualified for it. If your weapons department worked together you’d help each other on maintenance (depending on the equipment) so we could all get lib. My department sucked and none of the divisions could leave until all of maintenance was completed per our WEPS so we said screw it and all got qualified on each other stuff that we could do without school/certs.
