Nice!!! I wonder what effectiveness the ERA will have. It looks pretty thin so likely more for HEAT and will lack any kinetic effectiveness with the exception of smaller caliber rounds. Could even be applique/quick replace armor for extra protection against drones but it’s more likely ERA. It also is receiving next-generation composite armor so even if its just HEAT-based ERA, the actual armor will be more than enough.
so far looks like itll be very solid.

Not much has been confirmed right now, but Poland has been looking for more fighters. Polish Air Force to Acquire New Aircraft Type: Decisions Soon With one of the main candidates being the F-15EX.

With the recent AH-64 purchase and talks of the goverment wanting to buy chinooks to replace the aging soviet heavy lift helicopters (all Boeing products), I would say that we might have found our new fighter.
But of course we are talking about the Polish MOD here, nothing is certain.
i mean they are not cheap planes and not the easiest logisitically (but far from bad either). so something like more F-16 and F-35 is also likely. only if Poland feels the need for a heavy mover

across the 3? there are differences in the guns and i dont think American APFSDS for the abrams is cleared for the L/55 and the other way around

The Abrams uses a license built Rh120 L/44. That thing has a lower pressure chamber than the newer Rh120 L/55 on the leopards 2A6 onwards (or was the new chamber only on the L/55A1?). In either case, any ammo that an Abrams can fire, can be fired by any leopard as well. But the Abrams can’t fire the newer DM73 rounds that are built with the higher pressure chamber in mind.
