they shouldve just stuck with the Abrams lol. its actually built for combat
The Abrams uses a license built Rh120 L/44. That thing has a lower pressure chamber than the newer Rh120 L/55 on the leopards 2A6 onwards (or was the new chamber only on the L/55A1?). In either case, any ammo that an Abrams can fire, can be fired by any leopard as well. But the Abrams can’t fire the newer DM73 rounds that are built with the higher pressure chamber in mind.
Serval DSA and 30mm DSA finalizing testing and being brought into production soon!
If only there was a french shorad turret on the ebrc jaguar chassis.
like the skyranger mistral turret.
I mean we already got the MiG-17PF Fresco D why not add the F-86H Saber Hog I don’t care if it comes as a Squadron/Event vehicle or a prem
I just want it in the game
this
a CTA 40 with proxy fuze and some mistrals would be a decent AA, add in a small radar while you’re at it
Unfortunately, the french doctrine revolves around a multiple vehicle approach
CTA 40 doesn’t have proxy fuse rounds, it uses programmable air-burst
I could swear A3B was airburst, maybe i got it wrong though
Isn’t there a shell being made for it, i think heard that.
For 2028 i think ~.
yes, i think that’s A3B, by the time CTA 40 arrives in game, it will probably be ready X)
Yes!
good answer
It’s funny how shooting an RPG at the ground penetrates slightly less than dropping a bunker busting bomb from 20km up
I know you are joking, but we have to consider it’s not accounting for the post penetration damage. Rocket explodes on impact, creates a concentrated jet that pierce the ground.
A 250kg bomb will first penetrate, and then explode with much more explosive mass, meaning the shockwave might damage underground stuff much more
