The 2S44 Giatsint-K is a newly integrated Russian self-propelled howitzer that was first sighted in late-2024. Equipped with a 152mm 2A36 cannon, it offers a longer range than the earlier 2S43 Malva, achieving up to 45 kilometers with guided munitions. Developed by modifying the 2S43 platform, the Giatsint-K was rapidly produced using existing stocks of decommissioned barrels to meet battlefield needs. Built on the BAZ-6910-027 Voschina 8x8 wheeled chassis, it provides excellent mobility and stability. The 2S44 is confirmed in use by the 238th Guards Brigade, enhancing Russia’s counter-battery capabilities and representing a strategic shift in Russian artillery.
Israel’s new self-propelled gun candidate to replace the M109, its armed with a 155mm/52 caliber cannon fitted with an automatic loading and laying gun system, rapid in-and-out action times, and a high rate of fire that’s capable of direct fire as well as targeting threats out to 40km. It’s very likely this vehicle has advanced stabilizers for the gun as well as a Laser Rangefinder. Based on a 10x10 Oshkosh Armored Truck, it can redeploy relatively quickly.

Additional Notes:
For in-game, the open-topped wheeled Howitzers would be able to fire straight ahead only at long-range targets on maps like Red Desert. Direct fire engagements at close range can only be done from the sides. Even then, it can’t fully rotate the gun 90-degrees on either side. This issue is the same for all listed open-tops: 2S44 Giatsint-K, ATMOS 2000, Camion Équipé d’un Système d’Artillerie (CAESER), Archer, or 2S22 Bohdana self-propelled guns (SPG).
Not to mention, any lack of onboard ammunition stowage eliminates said vehicles which all of them should have (at the very least a minimum of 10x rounds). Regardless, it’s still cool to see such innovation for fast and effective SPG’s.
Realistically, the only viable two are the Israeli ROEM Self-propelled howitzer and Swedish Archer due to having dedicated onboard automatic loaders/magazines, 60rd and 21rd magazine capacity respectively.
Just please, Gaijin, stop introducing old helicopters and equipment for the US, don’t introduce low-ranking nonsense. Introduce at least something new, at least something newer than the 2000s.
No need to introduce AH-56 Cheyenne and similar nonsense, you have already introduced F-117 and H-34, no one plays on that.
Can the PGZ09 have 4x HN-6B/FN-16 anti-air missiles? I’ve seen multiple discussions on it but no images of it. If it can, hope to see it. Would be a nice Gepard 1A2(p) competitor as well as having AHEAD rounds. Could see it at BR: 10.0.
Nice! Never have seen that, that’s trippy. Looks like it was just a prototype after all. Every source making it seem like it’s the most common thing ever.
We’re going to need an early and late version when the aircraft is added to the game. The latest version offers so many different weapons of Western/Indigenous/Israeli origin to include the Litening pod, Spice 2000’s, Astra’s, MICA’s (Tested), Kh-29’s, Bramhos, I-Derby’s, and more. The actual Jack-of-all-Trades of aircraft (which would make a good emblem to come with the aircraft).
The only helicopter that can realistically be added would be the Danish Fennec, with Tow missiles. As for the UH-60’s both the Swedish and Norwegian models can equip 4 hellfires but they dont use them. Gaijin could add the UH-60 to replace the AHS but it would just cause people to only have a heli tree that goes to 10.3-10.7
I would love this if Gaijin actually bothered about making low tier helicopters usable (<4km missile armed helis against SACLOS and IR spaa is absurd) or made a proper helicopter game mode that doesn’t bore you to death, this thing wont be anything more than a cool 3d model to look at
I think no.
there is a plan of arm it with missile when it’s still in developing, its FCS already has this function. but due to unknow reason, it’s canceled.
it's planned to use a 10km FNF missile
a model was made in prototype stage, you can see the difference between the produced version
