I wonder how many inflation adjusted dollarydoos have been spent on the half dozen M8 derivative’s, over the past four decades of failing to be procured. Must be eye watering lol.

Looks like the BMP-3 in the back has some new type of spaced armor that’s got a little similarity to the BMD-4M’s. Another new BMP-3 variant?
Seriously, especially the fact that the XM1302 hit all the wickets unlike the M10 Booker which had 3 of the requirements removed so that way it could still qualify. I think the big selling point for it was the similarity to the Abrams (same interior-style setup and FCS). Still though, should’ve went with the XM1302 considering it matched all requirements without having any removed to begin with as well as multiple of them could be carried in various transport aircraft unlike the M10.

A bit confused, I’ve asked this before but don’t remember. Can the 9A310M1 TELAR of the Buk anti-aircraft system fire and operate independently from the rest of the system? I hear the 9A310M1-2 and 9A317 TELAR can but the earlier versions cannot. Throws me off considering they all utilize an onboard RADAR for tracking. Does it have it’s own EO/IR tracking on top of the RADAR’s? Is it a dedicated tracking RADAR or can it search?

Is this part a EO sensor or a RCWS? I think I have seen a picture where this part had a barrel like thing attached to it.

I’m not sure if it will be a premium. It’s main weapons (displayed ones) were Python 4, Derby, Popeye, Spice 1000, Griffin LGB, as well as a 2032 radar.
It never carried any other weapons, just Israeli ones, and these would be too powerful for a premium
