Well, lot of stuff going around about the M10 Booker not being able to meet the necessary requirements…I say bring back BAE’s XM1302 ‘Britney’ (M8 AGS-derivative) that did meet them:

I wonder how many inflation adjusted dollarydoos have been spent on the half dozen M8 derivative’s, over the past four decades of failing to be procured. Must be eye watering lol.

Looks like the BMP-3 in the back has some new type of spaced armor that’s got a little similarity to the BMD-4M’s. Another new BMP-3 variant?
Seriously, especially the fact that the XM1302 hit all the wickets unlike the M10 Booker which had 3 of the requirements removed so that way it could still qualify. I think the big selling point for it was the similarity to the Abrams (same interior-style setup and FCS). Still though, should’ve went with the XM1302 considering it matched all requirements without having any removed to begin with as well as multiple of them could be carried in various transport aircraft unlike the M10.
