The strv103D would also have incorporated a new fire control system with a thermal optic seen on this test bed, so it would be a combination of both this and the one with the additional armor

Apparently I can’t read lol. I think it would be well to sit at BR 8.7, very latest 9.0.
9.0 is a stretch, apfsds already tears through strv 103’s like paper
I agree, I was basing it off the current Strv. 103C @ 8.7. They would likely add it to 9.0 bc of the thermals and such unfortunately. Pretty much what they did with the Leopard A1A1 (9.0) and Leopard 1A5 (9.3).
Eh, without a stabilizer or good mobility it would be DOA especially with how many city esq maps we have. You wouldn’t be able to play it on 90% of maps
Yeah I think it should stay at 8.7 but Gaijin will 9.0 it I’m sure of it. I use it on urban maps regardless of how awful it is for it lol. Such an iconic vehicle
Thats if gaijin ever adds another. Considering how much they seem to want to ignore the hull aiming which has been broken or the fact that only the Strv 103O can actually aim down all the way despite being bug reported months ago. Its not like the strv 103 need to aim down anyways

You’re forgetting the 1A5’s LRF (over the coincidence of the A1A1) and access to DM33. It certainly warrants an increased BR.

I did forget about the LRF but ammunition is a controllable variable Gaijin uses. I still think they would raise the BR up. Not saying that’s what I would do but it’s a historical trend with a little bit of leeway.
Tam shouldve been 8.0 and the a1a1 shouldve been 8.3 or 8.7

Agreed. Back to the Swedes, I think the Strv 103C should be 8.3 considering its mechanics and the 103D 8.7 max.
A non predatory system that doesn’t use gambling to sell things, would be nice a future patch, oh wait we just implemented that system. Instead it should be removed for the next patch

should be some kind of 23mm AHEAD, similar to russian ZAK-23E, but this also needs some changes in the gun and fire control system.
