I would adore this, but please, do not make the Merkava’s one gimmick obsolete before buffing the actual armor Gaijin.
The Merkava 4M-400 and Merkava 5 have the best versions of the system from my understanding. The issue is is that everyone is adopting Trophy:
- K2 Black Panther
- M1A2 SEPv3
- Leopard 2A7A1
- Challenger 3
Etc.

Yeah it’s been named the Mk. 5 Barak from the stuff that I’ve seen and there’s an interim upgrade for the Mk. 4 to bring the Merkava 4’s Trophy to the Mk. 5 level known as the Merkava 4M-400

Mk.5 is unofficial designation, officially it is still Mk.4 (Merkava Mk.4 Barak).

J-10A HUD needs to be fixed. It’s still using the antiquated J-8B HUD, even though it’s been confirmed to have a better system. It lacks target tracking in HUD and has no way to use EEGS. Gaijin doesn’t seem to be doing anything to fix it.

I’m not against other nations getting it, but the Merkava would literally have zero point without having that one unique thing because the Leopard 2A7A1 would straight up (in-game) be better than it at everything.
