I just want them to fix wonky missile damage and proxy fuzes not working. I don’t want new vehicles each patch i just want bug fixes and gameplay changes.
Definitely Bismarck in comparison to Iowa and Yamato doesn’t really hold a candle, it still retained a WW1 style armour scheme and is more comparable to things like HMS Vanguard, maybe the Tosa class, Tennessee class etcetera, Bismarck’s legend mostly comes because it sank the Hood, a ship designed for service in WW1, and was a feat for Germany because a nation regarded as ‘crippled’ just a decade earlier had built two first rate battleships.
Iowa and Yamato competitors would be things like the G-3 Class, the Lion Class, for Germany the H-39. Still Yamato will be the best and will probably need some sort of limit to how many can be in a battle.
Would be cool to see because of the historical value, not the visual appeal, thing hurts my eyes.

Depends how the DMs are for all we know Yamato might be a one shot glass cannon. If we look at Scharnhorst it is pretty tanky maybe Bismarck will be the same.

WW1 style armor scheme = best armor scheme in WT. See Hood and Scharnhorst.
Iowa would be better as if she load less ammo she could remove some shell on barbette. But Yamato has entire shell room above the waterline, and her armor can’t be seriously angled due to cheek.
Basically entire top BR battleship’s ability would be estimated by ‘how much it can fight against Bismarck’

Well put it this way, the most modern British Battleship/Battlecruiser is HMS Hood from 1920, Yamato is from 1941. The British in particular have a LOT to be added before we even look at WW2 ships. America and Japan too, Germany have a lot more WW1 ships that could be added but during the interwar period they stopped because they obviously were disallowed to build new ships until 1938(?).
They can either speedrun up to Yamato tier with the Iowa, Vanguard/Lion, H-39, and then fill out the trees, or they can build up. Honestly we can’t give you an answer until we see which is the next ship that they add.
If they add something like the R-Class battleship, then they will probably be taking their time. If they jump to something like the KGV class or Tosa or something similar I’d suspect that they will be rushing there quicker.
