For early Escalation range, I support the small maps.
For 7.x to 10.x, with expansion to 7.x of course
they will just fudge the missiles and make them ARH like they did for the in game Buk

Aside from the one new map, the main change seems to have been w/ regard to the naval target sets.
The initial changes to NE maps on dev were the enabling of the new airfield logic, and more recently the addition of the newly added earlier SAM sites to replace the existing ones in the lower brackets ( HAWK(early) and HAWK(1970) replacing I-HAWK, Buk replacing Buk-M3 )
Now they’ve added a new system of reference to the naval target unit sets, and updated the waypoint logic to match. There are now two sets of naval units, covering all four NE brackets from 1970(early) to 2018 ( unlike the SAM sites, which are split into 1970(early), 1970(late), 1980, and 2018 )
Maybe we’ll see a wider range of naval targets once the new carriers and escorting ships mentioned as in development in the CM update are ready, or when the playable Naval NE test comes.

Because the devs didn’t do research, look at the ASHM-3 300km range. Gungnir also has that but gaijin decided a ground launched model with their ideal range is what we should get, now wether they update the stats to represent what they named it is up in the air.
