Next Major Update "Sky Odyssey" - Rumor Round-Up & Discussion (Part 2)

Is the J16 that was newly added to the game the latest block of the J16? Because if it is its lacking alot of things

Sadly this one is a bit of a mash of T.1, T.2 and 200 information. With a mix of engines in there too. So the devs did not accept this one.

Everything else that wasn’t has been attached to the existing reports thanks.

Pls tell me this is not the final version of the j16A that we will see

Hello @Smin1080p_WT
Could you please let me know if this bug report has been forwarded and accepted? It is a very annoying bug and makes the game more difficult when not using cyclical switching.

Man it would be so nice just having the SNORA/SURA racks tbh which I think are in that picture. Sigh.

I also assume gaijin wouldnt be kind and give them the HEDP rounds either xD

Oh aye… bloody civil servants…

Well you can see the 4 pairs of mounting interfaces for fitting the pylons to the hardpoints on the wings are there on the T.1 anyway

Airframe is either XX245 or XX307 in their 2009 RAF Benevolent Fund anniversary scheme - I think 245 because it doesn’t appear to have that visibly riveted panel along the front fuselage

seems like a good 13.3 plane to me

maybe 13.7 at a stretch

Any Dev update yet?

I want to see if the WS-10B series 3 change anything.

Nah, best case is 16.

Unless proof exists that AMRAAM on AMBER can be launched and not simply mounted, it’s not gonna be anywhere near 22.

Hi Smin, it’s my source, it is dated 1978.

In terms of variant, it does in fact specifically refer to the RAFs trainer Hawks in the first paragraph (which can only be T.1s due to the date of the brochure).

As da12thmonkey has already said, I do understand where the devs are coming from, the T.1s did only fly with two pylons and a gunpod in RAF service, but there is absolutely zero doubt that structurally the RAF airframes were built for and compatible with 5 pylons, and numerous T.1s flown by British Aerospace prove this by having all 5 pylons fitted.

cant wait for IRIST/ASRAAM and Meteor

Is there any plans or considerations for enabling night battles for Nuclear escalation in the future?

That will be the coolest addition ever, just imagine it comes true

SACLOS missile bots with zero radar usage in the whole session will somehow pinpoint you miles away, while you will lose the effectiveness of half of the self guiding missiles.

If all SPAA won’t keep their radars on all the time, then no reason to play this
