ASM are not connected to ARM, as they are for entirely different purposes. However its possible they may still get HARM at some stage.
Is it possible for A-7E to get HARM still?
True, but as we saw previously, the Snail works sometimes in mysterious ways. :3
Also, could you by chance forward some of these reports?
(Or is the H145M in a Early Stage and will get a overhaul soon?)

considering its at 10.3 probably not, I think the lowest BR plane with HARMs is the Italian tornado at 11.7
best case is 22 missiles, as unlikely as it is
AMBER is more real than lots of other load out/missile pylon options already in game
AFAIK, there are more players playing 13.0+ than 1.0-13.0 in terms of air realistic battles, so more players would benefit from AMRAAM fixes.
The only demographic that would disproportionately benefit from aim 7 buffs probably would be the premium players, as the f18 are overall very popular
What did they do to AARGM-ER, why is it so garbage
yes, you see
according to the devs for US missiles “more speed” means the missile is slower, and “double speed” means it is much slower
“we believe this is a complete marketing lie” or something, as all promotional material says it is faster than the aargm. they haven’t actually said anything, but the bug site moderators are being pretty annoying to deal with.
Oh so that giant smoke cloud from its massive booster is just a welcome mattress for SPAAs to start spamming missiles at u and ignore the ARM?
Its a tiger tank 0w0
Is it possible we will see the F-18E get access to its LIghtning ATP pod this patch?

IIRC it’s the Block III Super Hornets being fitted with centreline LITENING not the Block II we have in-game currently, or atleast that’s what has been said so far.
tbh i was expecting something like what they delivered, AARGM-ER is a really long range weapon, and to achieve this using a conventional rocket motor the better option is to use a boost-sustain profile, like it has. The low drag airframe and with loft, the sustain would be very appropriate. The thing is, IRL it is supposed to be launched at long range, and we dont have long range in War Thunder
i did some math based on the pictures they released and comparing with the og HARM, the propellant amount wasnt that off, i estimated from 180kg to 220kg, and rn it has 200kg… Gemini gave a number up to 240kg, unfortunely it didnt materialized 😔
transformers would make a great crossover not going to lie though I never got into the show. The decepticons emblem funny enough pops up on military vehicles a lot as painted on on as a sticker so historically accurate.
Spoiler

it still needs to be able to get up to a good speed, definitely not a speed slower than the regular HARM. from there it can sustain that speed at altitude with the lifting strakes and low drag until it gets close to target then it dives
lol gaijin looked at architectural modeling and made everything post rain noon.
I would kill for a transformers collab
(Also r.i.p Peter Cullen, that man was my childhood)
Wish Gaijin did more event crossovers as they would be fun though the risk is they under focus on the game.
That particular bit is in reference to the Weapon Trainer role, which was treated as separate to Hawk’s Ground Attack/Close Support role and furnished accordingly - the latter was a role that wasn’t required for the RAF (because we had Harrier) but was developed in parallel from the 2nd Hawk built.

^From this pre-production brochure^
As you noted, the T.1/T.1As could still be modified with extra weapon stations to convert them to Close Support role (it’s apparently written in the contract between the MoD and Hawker Siddeley) but the RAF don’t seem to have stocks of the outboard pylons and CAS-role weapon selection panels to convert them themselves - it was BAE that fitted the planes out for various export-oriented flight certifications.
In the 1990s the RAF’s Hawks were fitted with structurally reinforced wings like the Mk.60 - an effort called Mod. 999, and later stronger tailplanes (Mod. 1830) and in the 2000s, the FRP noted on the premium jet that gave them the Mk.60’s rear fuselage (Mod. 2010). But didn’t change the number of pylons used for the Weapon Trainer role, and didn’t fit the additional Mk.60 wing fences to improve stall characteristics with combat loads.
The MoD’s brochures to sell the old T.1s still says they support 5 hardpoints, and indicates the heavier max load the Mod. 999 wings provide.
So really it’s up to Gaijin if they want the Hawk fitted out as a trainer or a CAS aircraft.
There’s valid arguments for both in terms of what the RAF actually fitted them out with, and what they were structurally capable of being equipped with.
