you spent 3 months playing just ground and your first aircraft of choice was the J-15? that has to be dangerous for your health
i know… i tried j10c after su30sm after F16v
i am still in noob mode
Why don’t you just play the nonchalant Mirage 2000-EI? Its amazing.
i have the taiwan but stuck in the 70k rp modification hell
Oh yikes. Okay maybe not the Mirage then :sob:
my biggest problem i saw during my comeback in how my crew is bad.
i have a lvl 75 crew but since my 3 hours session now, i never seen a missile indicator shown in my screen which mess up my notch everytime.
Now, it is really important for a fighter with a weight of 14.7 to have a radar range of greater than or equal to 90 degrees on one side. This is reflected in the Su-30SM2 and Typhoon (AESA); it allows the fighter to maintain awareness of the target even while maneuvering along avoidance routes, which the J-15T and F-15CGE do not have.
Of course I know Rafale doesn’t have this capability either, but it has fuselage drag as low as a bug and maneuverability like a paper airplane.
Chinese and American 4.5’s will be going to 14.7 because of other upgrades, nothing anyone can do about it
what mean
you think F-15EX is going to be 14.3?
I never said such a thing. If there isn’t a large-angle phased array radar, but it has strengths like the Rafale, then 14.7 is totally fine too.
Wide-angle radar is important, but I never said that without this kind of radar it shouldn’t be 14.7. It’s not advisable to make a blanket distinction between them.
The latest Leopard 2HEL has a noticeably shorter turret basket compared with other Leopard 2 variants. Besides, its hull‑front armour is better than that of the Leopard 2A7V/HU.
Do you think this makes any sense?
They are both equipped with D‑type armour. How could there be such a huge protection gap, with one reaching as high as 750 mm while the other hovers between 640‑650 mm?
Or are you just trying to give them preferential treatment?
As the country of origin, why shouldn’t Germany get more Leopard‑2 vehicles? Instead, we only get a cobbled‑together EMBT. Sweden has three Leopard‑2s with D‑type armour. France has the A4, A5 and A6. Italy used to receive an A7HU. Japan got one in this update, and now Israel has also gotten one.
The suggestion for the Leopard‑2 PSO’s D‑type armour was accepted three years ago, yet it still hasn’t been officially implemented. The suggestion regarding the Leopard‑2 series’ mobility was approved two years ago. And the proposal to fix the Leopard‑2A7V’s hull‑front armour dates back three years as well.
None of these changes have been adjusted to their proper levels, neither in the live server nor the dev server.
Besides, Italy’s A7HU is essentially the Leopard‑2A7+, which Germany already has. Why not just copy‑paste it into the German tech tree? It’s almost as if you’re making it obvious you’re playing favourites.
This tank gets its armour nerfed, its mobility nerfed, and its reload speed is among the worst in NATO. I fail to see what point there is in playing it.
What’s most ridiculous is that Germany is one of the Big Three nations in War Thunder, one of the first nations new players get to experience. Yet its treatment is plainly inferior when compared to the United States and the Soviet Union .
Since the new changes to the AIM-7 family, it appears clear that whoever the missile guy is, his quality of work is shoddy and leading the old missiles historical performance down the toilet. The AIM-7F/M/P are now very inaccurate and not at all performing to the real world performance numbers.
maybe isp could be reduced a bit
what strengths? :D
?
Possibly, it just is overperforming too much according to some performance charts.
The live AIM-7 sparrows are more accurate than the dev versions somehow.
No no, accurate how?
Like dev sparrows are missing targets? or accurate as in flight performance?
in what way?
that might be your issue
i think relative to some missiles like R27ER it seems extremely overtuned but it isnt that bad, once R27 gets its rework i expect it will regain advantage
