You know how they treat the existing minor nations, what do you expect an entirely new tree to look like? Lmao
They will probably choose some random countries on the map and make a sub tree because the next upcoming nation did not order a space laser but another country did, so they have to invent a link and add a sub tree with a package of copy paste (only there to block original vehicles) because we are incapable of researching another in game nation that has the space laser
I meant like “mainstream” 4.5 gen jets before 5th gen, didn’t forget. No need for a separate super hornet either since current ones have more or less the same capabilities (relevant to war thunder, anyway)

Whenever I see people suggest new trees, they always tie those trees to one or more subtrees from the start, that’s definitely not a good sign for a potential new tree

Would still be nice to have but not necessary to have before 5th gens. Although the F/A-18XT would be a nice option to have in between.
Same with other “stealth” 4.5 gens like an F-16C/D Block 50/52 PoBIT with Have Glass V modelled or the F-15SE (as an unfinished prototype but failing that F-15E1).

Unlikely. It’s an intended feature within the game.
I love when an awful player who doesn’t have the slightest clue of positioning just MCM’s my missile and instantly puts me in an atrocious position. So fun.
They obviously have surplus resources to hire new devs that work on infantry, right?
Instead of hiring people to work on infantry, they could have hired people to work on existing modes.
Regular ARB, GRB, Sim, Assault, etc desperately need to be improved, NE is half-baked, naval has been a sinking ship since it was added, a lot of the time they add new mechanics, those mechanics are left in an extremely basic form and never expanded on, etc
The chances of infantry ending up like naval are pretty high, especially when looking at Enlisted

So long as they are actually separate teams they should be fine to work on infantry. Yes there are some areas that could do with some more resources (like all things cockpit modelling) but overall I do think infantry will add a lot of opportunities to WT.
If you want to talk about a waste of resources just look at Aces of Thunder.
