agreed absolutely, what i find hilarious is that i didn’t find yet in lobbies a single french EMBT not even for mistake or whatever, extincted at the arrival, google result of DOA XD

let it be unique, who wants another plain Sabre over a more unique one? even if they didn’t use it in HAF (that most likely did) probably they were combatable after North American rebuild them before getting them from RAF. The Helldiver is wrong, the F-84G, F-86E(M), Spitfire, Helldiver all missing Napalms, the F-102 has missiles that weren’t even compatible, the A-7H is missing its ground ordinance, the F.1CG magically got flares/chaff but they couldn’t give it the realistic Sidewinders (11.3 plane with only4 real aspect missiles lol) , the Mirage has Armat but not the Exocets and the Rafale has a load all the a2g weapons that Greece isn’t even using in the name of compatibility, so yea i dont thing its a big issue to go to 8.3 with the AIM-9B, also isn’t the wings the same wings with the F-86F?

Hopefully, Gaijin will give them DM53 to make them more interesting, and folder the French 2A5 and 2A6 to make the grind towawrds the French EMBT more viable.
I was really excited about EMBT, but the implementation across the board disappointed me xD.

So long as it’ll have datalink, it’ll still be good and can be fired at range while also guided in. There’s also the possibility of datalink preventing it from seeing flares in certain scenarios.
Both P5 and IRIS-T can jump to S, as they have DL

Python 5 doesn’t have datalink, an aircraft being able to tell it where to go from datalinked information isn’t datalink.
And IRIS-T doesn’t have datalink as there’s already a very clear primary source showing IRIS-T → IRIS-T SLM: Datalink.
Also, read the title of the chart. It says “Ranking of next-generation IR missiles for Warthunder”. Unless there’s accepted reports showing datalink for these missiles, neither one would get datalink. It’s not “ranking for IRL”.

We went over this, Python 5 will be able to do IOG launch on datalinked information that was sent from another plane to the host aircraft:

Again, the launching aircraft can uplink the datalinked information before launch. All missiles with IOG can have data uplinked to it while it is still on the aircraft before being fired.
You are seriously going to argue that they mean Uplink to the missile on rail.
