“it has no tail so its 6th gen” is basicily what USA will use to make f47 6th gen why cant we call it 5.5++++ gen because that’s too boring b-2 had no tail for years ALL OF THE “6th” gen fighter designs USA are using is all recycled
“We” don’t. Some people that created the concept of fighter jet generations do by setting some arbitrary requirements for planes to fit into certain generations. There are a couple of generally agreed upon features for each generation and there are multiple established lists for fighter generations.
Again, if you let the manufacturers just call their planes whatever generation they want, the meaning of generations gets lost.

let me tell you what boeing is doing
they will take X-36 prototype make it full scale color it make it put some weapons and a radar on it and call it 6th gen because why? its all recycled because the designs where so peak that they had to go back and use it
same with northtops new F/A-XX design

so we gonna call “6th” the 5.5++ gen because I’m happy with that but upgraded f35s will take that and upgraded f22s its just a name for whenever USA or china feels its a noticable jump in tech and decides to put 0.5 or 1 infront of it and it tricks us all BUT NOT ME I know Gens mean nothing which is why I like to call b21 6th gen since it will share many of the same tech with what everyone is okay with calling 6th gen

I just want the VL MICA. Everyone else has their top-tier IR SPAA, while France is still missing one.

Yeah like they have any data for AGM-88G motor right? And theres real chances AIM-424’s motor is the Mk104, which is not new
USA, Sweden, Germany, Israel (China?) yea 4 have so its not everyone else but still is almost half

I would say that a lack of info for an air to air missiles is a lot more problematic than a lack of info for an air to ground missile.
Man, it would easily be one of the top 3 AAs in the game.
Spyder is 12.7, which makes the Python 5 being so poor even more sad.

The CS/SA5 has IR missiles, so yeah, half of the nations have IR, but as you said, that’s not “everyone else”
