The missile changes are coming across the board. Gaijin has been working on refining missile flight models a lot in general, but they still are neglecting ECCM (not to be confused with IRCCM), which would be a factor for chaff as well, not just proper ECM.
As for the towed decoys, there are signs in the datamines that they are working on them.
i mean you sort of could since they kinda follow similar eras but it makes it more confusing when dealing with fighter generations

You could like it does fit, when you think of something like the B-1 it does fit into what you think of as 4th gen. Same with the B-2 and 5th gen.
But then you get something like the B-52 which has been in service through most of gens and likely will be for quite a few more so it’s hard to place it in a certain one without going into specific versions which just muddles it all up.
There is a sixth generation of fighters, those are being in development.
The difference is that Northrop is calling the B-21 a “Sixth generation AIRCRAFT”, but general aircraft aren’t divided into generations the same way that fighter jets are.
what dummy said bombers cant have gens and still why wouldn’t I be able to call some plane with 6th gen tech a 6th gen
and even then, gens are kinda subjective thing anyway, even for fighters
Like every major air force and military that uses the gen classes and has strategic bombers of their own.
Call them whatever you want no one is stopping you, but when you do call them that although it does fit most of them you will still be wrong.

As a whole probably, but then does the B-52H fit in alongside Sabres and MiG-15’s? With the B-52 is seems necessary to split up each version whereas it’s not really needed for anything else.

Nobody outside of Northrop is using that kind of terminology for planes that aren’t fighter (and certain strike) jets.
They also aren’t calling it a “Sixth generation bomber” either. How would you even divide bombers into generations?
china will call j36/j50 6th gen but watch Boeing and or Northrop call there’s the first 6th gen it means nothing so I can call f22 when it comes 11th gen
