They shouldn’t be missing when Gaijin decides to add 5th gens.
The point that @Alebang was trying to make is that there is enough content left to be added before 5th gens are added and the game reaches the end of the line when it comes to jet fighters.

What if you want to add a similar model to the one added with this program, like a slightly different variant, do you have to ask these revenue share modelers to reuse their models or have to order completely new model instead?
For example we have IAR-93B added with this program, what if you want to add IAR-93A? Can you reuse usermade B model to create A?
Do the soldiers operating those vehicles get bonus payments?
I wouldn’t want to sit that close to missiles, especially not right behind them lol

I understand the frustration, but take a look at it linearly.
A lot of words
If Gaijin went the route of “Lets add literally every generation of aircraft first before moving onto the other” it would take years until we get to x generation.
IDK If you noticed, but the more modern aircraft available sparks huge interest in the game. From Gaijin’s POV, it’s literally a money printing operation with premium vehicles (or event/squadron for the truly niche additions, like MiG-25), because people want those modern aircraft.
If we then decide "well, we’re missing just so much of x generation aircraft, how can we move on to the next generation when it’s not even 90% complete?
Then we enter a stage of near-stagnation and updates where the increase in capability or performance or put simply there being no difference to gameplay except for the thing your flying just looks different is nothing to crow about at all for the wait required.
And, more specifically to your proposed aircraft, where the capability presented by said aircraft is already filled by certain aircraft already. Yes, they’re unique designs. Yes, they have a place in the tree. But to say they’re needed is, in my opinion, not true. They can be added whenever, but they’re not required to be in x tree (especially the nations that exist; some vehicles mentioned can’t even be added right now) befofre moving on to the next generation of aircraft.

Look, I get where you are coming from, but I never claimed that they were needed to be added.
Nothing really is needed to be added to the game, if you go at it with that approach.
The thing right now that is different than the jumps from one generation to the next is that we are at the pinnacle of what can be added now.
There is nothing newer than the 5th gens, unless you want to get into planes that are still in active development, nowhere near being finished and surrounded by a lot of secrecy.
If this was just another jump with plenty of newer planes left to be added, I’d agree that there is no reason to bother with vehicles that are still missing from previous generations, but 5th gen is the end of the line.
Once the F-22, F-35, Su-57, J-20 and J-35 are in the game, that’s pretty much it.
Nothing newer to generate hype, unless Gaijin wants to take the World of Tanks (or rather World of Warplanes) route.
It sucks that some of the (to me) most interesting Jets will probably never come to War Thunder, especially not this update or the next, because of the vehicle implementation standards.
