I’m not against adding multispectral smokes, I didn’t intend to sound like I am.

It’s a real shame that Gaijin messed up the CAS vs AA (and tanks in general) balance so much that there really isn’t anything they can do to actually fix it.

Multispectral smokes sadly are just a band-aid for what is essentially a mortal wound at this point.

If the deal goes through and they include AESA, it would technically be the most advance Mig-29"in service" :v

I feel like that line of argument might hold more water if France’s ground tree had gotten more than 1.5 domestic designs in the past 5 updates. Since the EBRC the only other addition has been the EMBT, while we’ve seen a Leopard 1a5 that performs similarly to the German one, but required new modeling, and we’re seeing something similar on the SPAA side of things.

France has plenty of domestic designs and modifications of vehicles in game that woundn’t require completely new designs (AMX-13-105, AMX-30 Sabre, AMX-10 RAA, AMX-13 S533, AMX-13 DC-30, VAB VDAA) but we’re not seeing any og them added.

Between the very low inflow of French designs, and the fact that France is the only tree that doesn’t have a domestic French premium that can grind top tier air or ground, it really does feel as though the tree is on the back burner.

I imagine that by the time they’d enter service, the Indian MiG-29Ks will already have the Uttam AESA.

another IL-10、ZBD04 and gepard??

Absolutely doesn’t work in Nuclear Thunder because AESA GMTI somehow *ucking sucks and can’t see through the same bushes Itos laser you through. Not to mention the scan width setting changes nothing so you have a bunch of clutter on radar that you have to cycle through when you only want to see what’s clearly in front of you. Lastly, the Brimstone’s are just too slow to be able to hold track the entire way while also having to navigate the chaos of the rest of the battlespace. God what a sad weapon. I’m not tripping that these are just jet-launched hellfires atm right?

I would say submerge! XD
PS no hits for more Italian bombers = sad.

Gaijin should add the schliffen(H40) and classify it as a sub for a laugh

And the South African Subtree manages to add almost entirely unique vehicles that satisfy the diversity requirement (largely aside from the Eland), BeNeLux is the opposite with 3.5 unique vehicles.

In two weeks, I will be looking at two guys presenting a Gepard like huh there was a gap, huh people love Gepards meanwhile completely leaving behind:

  1. Why the vehicle is 8.3 meanwhile the AMX-30 DCA, worse in every possible metric, is at 8.7
  2. If they brought DCA to 8.3 or 8.0, would we still need this vehicle?
  3. Why you are not addressing the rank V gap before a Dutch Gepard? Whole 7.x range awaits a SPAA like AMX-13 S533. There are lineups at 7.3 (2 vehicles) and 7.7 (5 vehicles) still using cardboards from rank IV

I’d be slightly more amenable if were something like Vickers Valkyr H.20 since it would address an actual gap in both Britain and France, but from my stand point both trees aren’t “winning” by any means.

At least for planes they added most of the iconic jet fighters of the Benelux nations, now we only need a couple more of the props and we’re golden.

Sadly the ground additions have left much to be desired for me personally, both on the Benelux and french sides, although the 1A5BE was a step in the right direction. Personally I’m rather exited for the PRTL. However it’s still unknown if it’s the CA1, CA2, CA3 or the later GWI. So we can’t really determine its BR yet, but between 8.3 and 9.7 would be a sure guess.

I got into this exact scenario and fired like 20 rounds of Vulcan wondering if it would kill me, but nothing happened so I J’d out.
When the ship sank it gave ME the kill credit, not the enemy, I was actually livid and all my teammates got mad at me too. Meanwhile the enemy who should have got the credit got nothing and I got a repair bill for an aircraft carrier. Ridiculous.

Esports ready game btw, and this ancient bug with carrier decks still hasn’t been fixed.

They do this all the time. Read the full changelogs from the last two updates, they are ENORMOUS. Plenty of fixes in there. And then there’s all the bug fixing patches we get throughout each and every week.

It’s just really hard to dislodge popular and cathartic narratives that appeal to people’s frustration.

To be fair, a lot of the bugs are just them fixing repeating bugs that keep coming back.

They have extremely aggressive fleet size targets but can’t afford that to be entirely top of the line airframes, so they’re taking any decent offer well, offered

It does filter by heat, so burning wrecks shouldn’t be an issue.

The main issue for use against ground targets is that it can’t be pre-locked, meaning there is always a chance the bomb finds a teammate to lock onto.
And of course since it’s meant for use against naval targets, it might need to gwt closer before it can get a lock, though the difference between small boats and landing craft to large tanks isn’t as bad as the “tank aginst big ship” comparison most would think of.

The bigger issue imo would be the lock range depends of the temperature differential between the target and the background (sea or land)

Would be interesting to see if gaijin model that
