The majority of player demand was for a TT F-14D. This is what was added and not “going against community demand”.
There would be no meaningful difference between F-14D(R) and the current VF-11 in game. The reason players made that suggestion was because Grom recommend they make a suggestion topic for an entirely different version. Rather than just a squadron variation.
@Smin1080p_WT hey mate, hope you’re doing well! I know you won’t be able to share anything too concrete, but broadly speaking, how high on copium am I if I speculate the battle pass German TD to be, say, a fat boi with a diesel engine? 😇
@Smin1080p_WT just asking is there plans to fix sweep wing aircraft? on a lot of them if you use the auto mode for them whey will move to slow so you will get a reduce speed warning when going fast.
also will you guys give us manual MTI for the Mig-23,s/25…
True, but it’s genuinely annoying and, at worst, disheartening to see posts like these repeatedly get dozens of upvotes, sometimes even hundreds, within just a few hours of an BeNeLux announcement. This has happened plenty of times in the past, and these examples are just a few of the recent ones: 123.
War Thunder’s birthday celebrations will continue from October into November as you may expect! However, that’s not everything we have planned, as we also have plans for another event. This event is one that we ran last year and can be seen as a little “extra” event that will start at the beginning of mid-November.
Here 's the article for the event they ran last november parallel to DCT, if it wasn’t immediately clear:
Unfortunately its a bit expected at this stage. We always welcome feedback on any additions, BeNeLux / France included. We listened to many of the constructive complaints at the start of the year and naturally have plans for future domestic French vehicles as well as BeNeLux too.
The examples you linked here for example are sadly a bit down to things being taken a bit to far with the BeNeLux memes where its basically become a free upvote to attack it.
The first example you linked here is also a very strange conclusion. As the PTRL is an actual unique Dutch SPAA and fills a gap and offers something cool. It has not come “instead of” an AMX-10RC or even remotely a replacement for one. The same could basically be done for any addition in any major update and go “instead of X, wouldn’t it be great to get Y?”. When X didn’t prevent Y, which may well come in the future. X was simply planned for now and coming now.
