… Can you read? All I am doing is pointing out the blatant double standards by some participants on the forums saying they don’t want more than 1 sub tree in their hypothetical tech tree because it would dilute it too much/take up too much space, while being in full support of people asking to pile 5+ nations in another tree. That is all.
Canada.
New Zealand.
I guess Ireland but im not touching that one with a bargepole
Just say other “eastern European nations” thank you
I don’t treat Czechoslovakia as a sub tree, we are equals.
I only support the current sub trees.
I’m sorry but this is just your imagination.
That probably wouldn’t have needed to happen had Gaijin not sentenced basically every other vehicle from that series of light tanks programs to being an unobtainium event vehicle.
The Skink wouldn’t have needed to go to the US tree either if gaijin would have chose any one of the myriad of prototype spaa the US had from ww2 with similar capabilities. But once again they took the easy way out.
Are you excited for another NATO plane that still won’t get ESM?
Hey now thats not true NZ has the A-4 Kahu and that one Super Seasprite variant that only they operate iirc.
Fast, fat, full of missiles, screw ESM I need it in Air RB :))
Opening up any of threads in machinery of war section and i might occasionally like 2 Germans and an American main complaining (Thodin being the most notable)
But along side them i will always see the same 5-6 british mains complaining about twice as much.
Truly the nation that suffers the most indeed
Respectable.
So you are against any kind of further Canadian representation in the British tree, for example? That is interesting.
A lot of people, predominantly those that no-life this thread, completely fail to see the indisputable downsides of subtrees, those mainly being the physical space they take up in the tree alongside the attention and resources they divert away from the host nation. France receiving 1 French ground or air vehicle in total for the past 10 months, for example. It is interesting that you actually do recognise these inevitable problems when it comes to your Polish tech tree, yet fail to recognise that those exact problems are manifesting themselves in the British and French trees currently.
Again insert that one suggestion post from Mauswaffee(?) About fixing subtrees.
Some poor PoBIT is going to run into an EX and there won’t be a single thing he can do
The Stingray that competed was not the Stingray Light Tank, it was the Stingray turret mounted to the M551 hull and later the Stingray II.
The Stingray light tank itself was never offfered to the US, but instead purely aimed at export. It was shown off in various nations in Southeast Asia and South America and only Thailand ordered a variant of it. This is also the variant we have in game, configured for the Thai order and notably different from either of the two demonstrators owned by Cadillac Gage. Mainly look at the engine cooling systems and LFP for the most notable differences.
Only after the Thai order the updated tank was used for advertising, at which point the images used depicted Thai service vehicles and no other nation ended up buying them.
If you want an American Stingray, please use one of the two Cadillac Gage owned prototypes, the M41A1 Stingray (A3 was only tested with a Thai service M41, but the A1 was tested by Cadillac Gage before), M551 Stingray or Stingray II.
I’m fine with any of those. Remove the foreign round too while they’re at it. But US tanks shouldn’t be in other trees if the main nation didn’t use them
Yeah this one’s probably the reason.
They copied the Thai Stingray to the US instead of having Cadillac Gage prototype models made (which would even be better in game for the saved weight for anyone trying to imply this is blind US tree hate) the same way that the Thai M60A3 TTS still uses the same wrong turret model of the ROC tank and the M163 wasn’t the M163A1 they actually operated.
It’s all just them being lazy/cheap with new models.
Harold Camping would be proud of this calculation

I’m not really sure what the point of those is at all. Even Thailand uses M735 and M426 with the Stingray, not C76A1 or DM33.
This is especially weird considering that these aren’t even that far off in performance. At the very least M735 as the first APFSDS round seems like it would’ve been the easy choice.
No
Mauswaffes suggestion is a good solution to this, Gaijins poor execution adds onto the problem
That’s an issue for later, the main issue is actually getting this added.
Don’t forget the glorious Bob Semple /j
But I want the Schofield tank more.
