your forgetting while taking out the s300 you must stay low and watch for 2s6

there is this thing called ARMs
which can be fired at SAMs to suppress them
and while they are suppressed you can use GBU-39s to take the S-300s out

that’s not how that works you cant fire arms at every s300 and expect all of them to hit you will have to get decently close to each one
True, but the whole job of cargo delivery and repairing airfields could just be done by helicopters and smaller cargo planes, so there is no need to make sure that a fricken C-5 or An-225 can safely fly and deliver cargo
c-17 isn’t that far off and would still need a fixing along with helis would need a balance change to the whole mode
There is no need for any kind of fixes to make cargo aircraft work, you are just expecting there to be much more behind their addition than there likely will be.

i just wanted to say something that i started to playing Germany like 4 years ago and that time it had some of the best available vehicles in the game across all teach trees but at this point that i just reached the top tier , with these recently updates i just feel liked being trolled with +5 vehicles added to both USA and USSR i just feel wasting my 1.5k Timeplay playin on this faction with no CAS cargo and not even a good armor at ground vehicles compared to all other factions.
another point is that The F/A 18 C Late have no access to AGM154 Stealth bomb and no other IR cargo for casting in ground games likewise other F/A 18 C Late in other factions.
I think at this point you can just remove Germany from game because it has nothing to offer in all ground/air/helicopter teach trees.
Please do something about it.

Did you read what he said? He didn’t say you launch the HARMs at the S-300s expecting them to kill. He said you launch the HARMs at the S-300 to distract it, and while it is busy intercepting them, you can pop up, find them in your TGP, and drop some GBU-39s on them.
I wonder how the flare resistance of existing missiles will be affected by the change that’s gonna make them target engines, rather than the centre of the plane
F-5A/Cs are probably going to be impossible to hit with missiles lol
The AIM-9X Block 2 is already in game, and it has datalink.

I’m not saying that it’s going to happen with planes, but I can see Gaijin removing datalink from plane launched IIR missiles for some stupid reasons

I dont think its gunna make a difference for normal seekers.
The heat signature isnt localised on fixed wing, so it going for the engine isnt going to change how effective flares are directly
What it will probably change is:
- The angle of the missile and thus might make the seeker more likely to see a flare than it isnt currently (perticularly with gate-width missiles)
- Change how much damage the missile does on impact (really tanky aircraft might get buffed)
After that, im just expecting missiles to randomly miss for a month or 2

I am expecting them to be LOBL, so that will limit the advantage of DL by requring the target to be visible in the seeker.
