Next Major Update - Rumor Roundup & Discussion

We already have had a devblog. it was for snail plush/decoration

The tornados aren’t that old. It’s a 80s plane.

GREECE METNIONED!!!

this is a 2009 plane

It’s not marked as development

Devblogs have the “Development” tag on the WT site

it is an upgrade from a 80s airframe that was continuously upgraded and is still in service to this day

the point is that the F-16 has been in service since the 80s and was upgraded over the years

No, its a F-16C Block 52+ Advanced new build

This is the one serving since the 80s

(shameless plugs)

you missed the point

i wasnt talking about that specific airframe

but the F-16 as a family of planes, which was in service ever since the 80s

there’s an F-16 from 1979 still flying in RJAF

Also the Block 15/20 MLUs now in active duty in Ukraine

I believe if this was a contest, North Korea would win

Wrong plane used. They still use an2s

The new submarine torpedo added to the files last major had code for passive homing initially, it 's far from impossible that we would see that kind of weapon when or soon after subs come in whatever form is soonest next. Plus there is the torpedo mode toggle keybind and the reworked, separated active and passive sonar sensors added earlier this year to consider too.

I vaguely remember the ships in the submarine event from 3 years ago having working sonars

Colombia should win with their AC-47T

Close enough for me as it does include in game content

The modelling of the sonar in that event was equally vague; the new ones meet the bare minumum of differentiating between types that produce noise and those that only listen.

I had to look those up, because I was about to ask whether transport planes should even count, but they actually use them as gunships for counter-insurgency
