i imo switzerland went to germany and the benelux went to france explicitly because the swiss have used more french tanks and the dutch have operated more german tanks, allowing gaijin to add more vehicles overall

all stemming from the fact that most people only really play to finish a single tech tree, this way allows a singular tech tree to have more variety

Switzerland and France had / have much greater military cooperation than Switzerland and Germany. It’s not just one or two turrets that France sent over.

BeNeLux should have been its own thing with Indonesia and Congo as sub-TT. They used BeNeLux vehicles and US vehicles, so the vehicles would allign with the TT, instead of having US vehicles inside the Japanese TT.

EDIT, then Algeria and Botswana could have been French sub-TT’s since they modify tons of French vehicles.

The last major leak (with all the information about subtrees, stealth, etc.) was only about half correct, and they were pretty much all the relatively obvious additions. I don’t think the leakers have any reliable source anymore (or they’ve been told to shut up), other than whoever is leaking the pre-orders.
