looks at how all Dutch aircraft after a BR is only premium and events ya…
I’m holding out a small amount of hope that we get the Dutch F-35 over the Belgian one.

Given it went into service first it’s a reasonable outcome, unless there’s some sort of significant ordinance gap
Reasonable and Gaijin, good joke.
They added 3 of the same aircraft to one nation from 2 nations, 2 of which share a BR, and what they do they make the one from the nation that only got one premium. Even tho they could have given both nations a TT version.
Plus jesters at the F-16 stuff so many Belgium F-16, it took complaints to make it Dutch as they where planning on added like our 5th Belgium F-16 with the premium one, if they where planning on adding so many of the same shared aircraft you’d think they balance it out but nope every every aircraft after a point seem to need to be Belgian.

One day there will be an actual french premium. Gaijin pls sell the E.B.R 1954
Unfortunately it seems unlikely, see this comment chain from Smin: Next patch and beyond wishlist(Everything except Tech Trees) (Part 3) - #3367
There was a really cool suggestion for a French multi pack floating around that could include one

(I’d like a slightly different spaa offering, but that’s neither here nor there)
But that would also likely encroach on the Dev’s view of event vehicles
There is one hope - allegedly the prototype EBR-1954 was built on the hull of the EBR-1951, which was designed for about 2.5 tons less total weight, so the production variant has an improved suspension (what we have in game). I’m trying to gather enough documentation to properly support the prototype version with the weaker suspension.
Holy Smokes 🤦 you know what this reminds me of…how Hard people were trashing the 15C GE! I Guarantee things like the F22 are going to be Strong even with the small amount of missile they take!
Prediction…atm you already can lose track on targets on your TWS screen…now Imagine if this is a feature for the 5th Gens and it happens Regularly (your Missile radar will lose track even EASIER)! My Prediction is that at BVR even with 6 Fox 3s 5th Gens are going to be a MENACE! To track and hold track! This will be a very Good Tactical Advantage! Also if 5th Gen is coming for Christmas…I would imagine that this means a full rework of RCS!
No, I’m being completely serious here, what would it look like.
Considering it’s a just a single nation (and not even the worst off this year, just look at Sweden), it doesn’t have the player pop to raise a huge amount of noise.
Additionally, unlike nations like China, players at large already aren’t buying the expensive French premiums because, in large part, the three most recent store packs for ground and air aren’t actually French (or BeNeLux for that matter) designs.

I know I’ve been asking for more French additions, but recently I was told that my feedback like mine was what lead to the decision to add (drumroll please) the PRTL.
this is a very silly triple vehicle pack imo
like gaijin arent going to make the EBR1954 more accessible like this. they’ve already hard denied the finnish getting the KV1B in their own subtree, best they got is the KV1 1942 which is fine but is a different vehicle. maybe there’ll be a situation like that with some variant of the EBR but not the EBR 1954 that we have in game
and the vehicles in it make very little sense (an dont even try to say that the current packs are as bad because the avenger not being around on dday or whatever is so much less than the VAB t20 being sold alongside two vehicles it had like a 20 year gap from)
if you wanna do fading empire as a theme then itd make far more sense to singularly focus on 1950-1960s and not randomly include something from the 1980s
maybe like one of the amx VCIs with a 20mm or something, im not sure when they entered service
and realistically the ebr 1954 would probably get replaced with an m47 or something
Yes I’m aware, my comment says as much, as does the linked thread
My point is that it is still an interesting pack from a content and “level of modeling effort perspective “
And, as my comment stated, I’d make a different offering for the SPAA, but it’s important to keep the BR range close. An AMX VCI will likely be 6.0-6.3, so I don’t think it’s a solid candidate to pair with the other two vehicles.
As for the m47, that’s a 7.3 vehicle so that would further break up the BR range for the pack which isn’t great practice
a 7.3 m47 with a 7.0 amx13/75 and a 5.0-6.0 amx vci 20mm isnt really any worse than like the may 45 pack with the SPAA 1.7 BR lower than the tanks or the hell on wheels pack which is spread across 5.0-6.0
plus like there arent many other options for french SPAA (or “SPAA” in the case of the amx VCI 20mm) of the decade
I return this thread
tomorrow f-15ex and su-35 coming out in trailer just to be still be overshadowed by the rafale/j-16
@Smin1080p_WT Hi, it’s my first time mentioning you, but I want to ask if a top-tier Japanese SPAA will be added soon to the game? The Type 03 can’t do much with its current limits. Thanks for your time
not if they get 16 amraam and R-37 respectively
or if i see the super hornet on a Nimitz catapult with AIM-174 and then J-15T on Fujian with PL-17
They would skip the next generation of radar missile (PL-15) and go straight to the next one after that?
For the Rafale tbh more like:
Tomorrow F-15EX and Su-35 coming out in trailer while Rafale is shadow-buffed behind the scenes and no one really finds out except for a handful of people on dev-server
PL-17 not really next gen to PL-15, just different specialty.
rafale bein better is a bit of a fetch from me since mica’s ain’t allat compared to gnss missiles, but I still think j-16 is going to be better than both
f-15ex might be better depending on how many missiles it gets.
If it gets 16, then its better. if it only gets 12, then nope
How is that? If PL-17 is not really next gen compared to PL-17, then why wouldn’t it be fair to say AIM-260 isn’t really next-gen compared to AIM-120D?
