Next Major Update - Rumor Roundup & Discussion (Part 2)

It’s an October/November update, don’t expect too much

hopefully

You simply aimed in the aiming reticle then straightened your aircraft to fly above it and the bomb would release on its own. Basicly a smart bombsight. the rockets worked similarly you would set the aimpoint with your sight and some altitude adjustments and then on your attack run at an altitude the rockets would fire off and make impact at the desired target

Along with the LDIRCM rework do you guys think MUSS will get a buff to make it more useful against ir fnf missiles

would be the 3rd event plane to get CCIP for no reason

Hopefully

I know the F4D-1 had ahistorial CCIP, what other event vehicle was there with ahistorical CCIP?

It shouldn’t have CCIP

Tu-95 and B-52 (they don’t have HUD)

What happened to the “[W.I.P.]” posts? Were the late-year updates posted too early for Gaijin to allow them to be published? Like the M7 one

… why would it?

Is it not a LDIRCM for ir missiles?

Theres no plans for this no, since the Click-Bait fills that role already:

As with most premiums, the KVT is an “inspired by” rather than a 1:1. It fills its intended role (As a 105mm M1) correctly. So theres no plans to change it.

Bucs technically. That would include the Buc S1.

Should have CCRP and the bomber sight, but technically not CCIP iirc

MUSS is a soft kill APS IR dazzler. It blinds the receiver end of a SACLOS system so it can’t give useful guidance commands to a missile (like the TOW). Best it could do is affect IR AAMs but that is besides the point. It is not DIRCM

Id rather it have ahistorical ccip considering you literally dont get any other weaponry at all. Gives it at least some form of usability so its not just a game of having to lean in close to the screen in cockpit veiw to maybe pick out a target

Huh, never thought about that

Wouldn’t hurt to take it away, since they have regular bombsights
