Only options are:
- CBUs (were beta tested during the NT event on MLRSs)
- Anti-Runway / Cratering weapons (this could be part of CBUs though with things like JP233)
- Decoy / EW weapons (Like Spear-EW)
- Cruise missiles (like Storm Shadow)
or it could be a new seeker on an existing weapon type
- IIR seekers for A2A missiles (probably not actually IIR, but things like ASRAAM, Aim-9X, etc added to aircraft)
- MMW (things like Brimstones and GBU-53)
The final option could be nukes as loadout options rather than relying on a generic default aircraft for the role.
It could also have been a miss translation and it was referring to Towed Radar Decoys. (Which we saw a control for on the last dev server)
I havent seen any other ideas for what it could be except for those.

Please note that they specifically wrote “a new TYPE of ammunition.” Air‑to‑air missiles are not considered a new type.

It is a new TYPE of A2A missile as nothing in-game currently has an IIR A2A missile
In much the same way that an AGM-65B could be considered a different TYPE of weapon to the AGM-65D due to the different seeker
Its a new type of weapon. Not a seeker.
Both of these are AGMs.

We have plenty of entirely new types of weapons to consider, beyond even those you listed. So we are confirming nothing at this time.

Just to completely clear it up BVV_d said it was a “new type of ammunition”, is this just a mix-up in translation to mean a new weapon type (i.e. a new bomb/missile type) or something considered in-game as a type of ammunition (i.e. new countermeasures or similar)?

I know Russian, and on the Russian forum it’s specifically written about a new type of ammunition.
