Next Major Update - Rumor Roundup & Discussion (Part 1)

Currently there is no set rule or definition there. So it would be down to the devs.

Ok, thanks

I have searched it, even the National Museum says that are napalms, (probably re-used drop tanks)

We need the OP bombs added to the Spitfires at some point

:)

The Info comes from Airbus themself :3

Edit:
Thank you ❤️

@Smin1080p_WT Sorry for pining you again but in the bug report system it says the picture is too big.

This is a napalm bomb relic that it looks like the tanks in the photos

Looks like half of a sad face

Look like a cock 🥀

Unfortuntely AAM-5 and Python 5 might not come just because there isn’t top-br suitable aircraft for those missiles.

Depends on who you ask, because the F-22 has only 120 degree frontal ECM coverage while aircraft like the Rafale and EFT have 360 degree radar coverage so to me late Gen 4.5 aircraft will benefit from ECM more comparatively.

Id expect an F-2 (late) or something for AAM-5

and they could also add the F-15JSI

I think the F-16I will get Python-4s and move up, they already have another F-16 for the same spot, basically have Python-4/5s instead of AESA and have it at 14.3

Seems there’s quite a bit of differences. Block 1 would have no datalink, no LOAL, no lofting, etc.

Spoiler

Unless they pull an F-16AJ again, it doesn’t seem to exist as an aircraft.

Might be very rough and Gaijin could be hesitant having a mechanical radar aircraft with next-gen IR missiles, especially getting up there to something like 14.3. Atleast mechanical Typhoon can get something like sensor fusion to compensate for the mechanical radar in the future but the same can’t be said for F-16I.

Im not expecting the M-scan typhoons to get them at all. Without them, it create a greater BR differential with ESAs and a reason to play them over the ESAs.

If most next gen IRs were a full BR higher, at around 15.3, with the F-16I being one of the lower BRed next gen IR fighters… the balance might work .(and thats just with no decompression at all)

I think gaijin might be more hesitant to add IIR missiles to planes lacking MAW actually, since they said the they wouldn’t add those missiles before MAW was added to more (most, all?) nations

Anyone guesses for the next CM, my take will be the 13th.

Last major. it was not added with MITL like the other person said…
it was added because it is required in real life to use DL with the GBU-15(V)22. oddly enough though not required for the agm-130, even though it looks like it’s just a gbu-15 with a booster.

I think earlier than that

If we assume the update drops sometime between the 28th of October and the 11th of November. Then we could see the dev stream/dev server around the 15/16th of October. Which means the CM could be as early as end of this week or sometime next week

similar to that, is there any plans to add full instantaneous ESM to modern western planes? (superhornet, rafale, gripen E, EFT etc.)
some have been stated to have a sort of RWR/ESM receive mode in the AESA radar, but there are others with full sensor suites that still don’t have it.

And it would also be rough for any non-AESA planes to get them as you’re basically blind compared to AESA planes in detecting misisle launches. I think it’s fine if Su-30SM2 gets next-gen IR missiles or goes up against them since it has the high gimbal degree radar that can monitor missile launches.
