Yea the last vechicle Devblog we got (a d we have gotten only 2)
We also got this today
But this system has a really big problem. We often need to use AA to “finish the respawn match” when there aren’t enough spawn points. Right now, when there are enough points, we can “J3s” to swap for a tank or a plane to fight.
If this system is added to ground RB, we’d run into a situation where, when you “J3s” to switch tanks, a random enemy could get the kill reward from you. That’s unacceptable—the free XP/silver lion income is minor, but the bigger issue is the spawn points, which the enemy would get for no reason, affecting the match.
Our game already has tons of FREE AA, and under the new system, their “J3s” would make matches collapse even faster. I think this design should stick to AIR only.
do u have a date when thats going to be?
And of course, unlike what people claim, are never late or delayed, the snail only ever arrives precisely when it means to.
To be fair, the dev blogs, trailer, dev stream, and dev server are almost always on time to start. When an update comes late, it’s usually because the dev server got extended for a few days or a week because there are a large amount of bugs that need to get fixed before the live release.
This isn’t what I meant, the trailer comes after 2 weeks of dev blogs usually. The devblogs are generally very specific.
So 7 - 14 blogs on specific items before a trailer that outlines the whole update followed by the dev server which mostly completes the picture.
Lots of other game companies do the opposite of providing the trailer or a list of planned content at the start of the update reveal. Followed by specific blogs on individual items after.
The announcement of a subtree sort of defines this update, which I would say isn’t the norm. Usually the theme isn’t revealed until the trailer.
Not a huge deal, I just prefer the other method
Incidently I think this is why road maps are popular, gives people an idea what to expect and when to expect it(soon tm)
Agreed!
I am personally a modern MBT enthusiast, and I barely anticipate or play anything else (maybe modern Battleships, but Naval is a mess so meh). However, in the past 2.5 years, there’s only been 1 update mildly focused on them (Heavy Cavalry), and 2 more updates with a single such vehicle in this enormous timespan.
So here I’ve been, anticipating modern MBTs for months, and months, and months, and months, with such anticipation being met with disappointment 90% of the times.
That’s why “element of surprise” doesn’t work on me: because when you are looking forward to something you don’t get to see in most cases, you end up just finding the wait tedious when it leads nowhere.
Therefore, I would rather just know beforehand or as soon as possible whether I should grab some popcorn or forget about it altogether.
Very weird is that we got more mechanic/map Dev blogs than vechicle Devblog so far
The japan tech tree missing early squadron aircraft
and USA & Israel tech tree since rank II - IV none early squadron aircraft
Next Wednesday or Thursday ?
Maybe this is the long fabled QoL update
