The 2RI didn’t have spall liners, the only real issue it has in game is that the side armor is somehow less effective than a thinner sideskirt of the same armor type on the Strv 122B+.
Maybe they could add K276/K279 APFSDS used by Indonesia to make it more unique, but iirc these are just sidegrades to the existing ammo choices when it comes to performance.

Nothing special but enough to make a different variant to have at least 2 and not just one

I’m a bit sad that Israel will become yet ANOTHER tree to rely on Leopards, and to have more and better Leopards than Germany, Leopard’s country of origin, rather than just fixing the Merkavas so that they are competitive, unique and appealing, but… if they are doing this, they may as well go in fully instead of half-assing it.

Given other additions I suspect the lazy copy paste of Russian equipment version over the domestic MKI which has Indianisation and Israeli support upgrades IIRC.
It would be nice if we got the MKI with a ton of the non Russian kit it could use, not so copy-paste then at least.

I have a premonition that when Greece acquires the Leopard 2HEL, Germany will receive two Leopard 2 tanks with D armor.
I mean if the 2A6HEL gets added this update I wouldn’t be suprised to see Gaijin a heavy cavalry 2.0 where Germany gets the 2A7A1 as a unique model while the 2A6EX/2A6HEL gets added to Germany and Israel (through greece) together.
The name of the tank is 2HEL, and there is noway they add it in this update, in this update we will see Hellenic aircrafts so I don’t think we will see ground and air line in the same time
