Next Major Update - Rumor Round-Up & Discussion

What kind of data or evidence did Gaijin use for the previous PL-12 adjustments, or was it just for balance or some other reason (like to reduce the missile’s spin-down issue in the terminal phase)?

Us begging for the PL-12A to be an actual upgrade and apparently too much wobble/instability during flight of the PL-12 (iirc that bugreport is 2 years old)

I’m more curious about what gaijin bases its related changes on. They’ve always asked players to provide evidence before making adjustments, so any adjustments gaijin makes should also have a basis, not be groundless.

You are factualy wrong there lol

this one was made on basically nothing, par that 2year old bugreport on the wobble, iirc the AAM4 had a similar CMtoStab distance as the PL-12 (one of the things that nuked its pull) but doesnt have wobble issues, i think its to do with how they tuned the PID of the PL-12.

the PL-12A motor change was us begging for a better motor since the PL-12AE has literally a visibly bigger motor (also more modern).

the Challengers “combat wieght” is with all the extra armour on not the base model.

And the 2a7v is not with extra armor?

if we mentioned the TES then obviously its heaavier but i never mentioned the TES

no im not. it depends on what challenger we use but its not fair using the heaviest challengers and then not the heaviest leopard

(gets a Idea)
:3

The standard chally 2e got 67.4t

Or you realy compare a challenger 1 to the 2a7v lol

the challenger 2E doesnt weigh 67.4T???

is there a bug were no hits been shown in hit analysis?

i had 2-3 shots with my AS-90 on a T-54 and i can see non

the "hits" in the t54 forhead

If you want to make a comparison, here are two examples: Challenger 2e and Leopard 2a6ex Demo 2. They weigh the same.

66.5t is literally the combat-weight in the heaviest configuration the Bundeswehr operates the 2A7V in.

The maximum weight is <69t according to KNDS… (6t lower than the combat-ready weight of a challenger 2)

You are comparing a canceled challenger version that never went into service to the 2a7V now lol
Your own statement was the challenger 2 weights less.

Thats moving the goal post buddy

the combat weight of the challenger 2 is 64T not 75T

your the one who brought up the 2E and it isnt a cancelled challenger version its an export version

and yes it does. the base challenger 2 weighs less than the 2A7V if we start talking about uparmoured versions then yeah the challengers obviously heavier

67.4T you getting it wrong again
