Next Major Update - Rumor Round-Up & Discussion

depends on how much thrust is wasted from redirecting it for starters. theres also just a horrendous amount of aerodynamic witchcraft that can determine if it is truly worth the engineering challenge and extra weight too

Swiss mentioned :3
Swiss Ground surely coming this patch, they better have the Pz 87 140 as end vehicle :D

Did the poor reception of the Swiss Hunter years before admitting its meant to be a subtree have anything to do with it?

As genuinely, Argentina makes perfect sense in the German tree and not because all their stuff is slapped in there already

Is this modelled i WT? I don’t remember if the TVC flankers are already affected by this.

I have no idea if it is. Id assume not as trying to determine the efficiency is going to be a nightmare, plus thats another dokument leak risk point

To do with what? Sorry I dont understand the question. The aircraft didn’t really have a “poor reception” outside of British mains. Functionally it filled a key gap for Germany.

Switzerland was planned as a sub tree for a long time. We typically launch sqaudron vehicles for sub trees ahead of time to join a nation early. Such as the Hunter for Switzerland, Thai F-5 and Indian T-90 to name a few.

I would too, probably judging by the hover ability they have, gaining altitude even (sm2).

im hoping they are holding it off for a big gun update

M1 Thumper
Leclerc 140
Pz 87 140
Challenger Rh 130

those are the ones im familiar with im sure China has a large calibre MBT to add and I know russia does but their other options outside of the one already in game might be a bit to strong

for italy, isreal, japan and sweden im not sure

You know thats a hard topic xD

i recon it will play kind of like a SU-30SM2 with less missiles and worse turning due to 2D TVC instead of 3D TVC

not really lol unless we want to go back to the arguments of the CV90 should be in the british tree?

if they do add the Chally 130 it should be for both germany and britain as it was a join venture

when the swiss hunter was added as a SQDN aircraft. That was and still is a pretty hated decision as gaijin didnt announce the swiss as a subtree for two more years. Without the signalling of a swiss subtree it should have been a squadron vehicle in the british tree, because thats where the hunter is from.

wasnt there already the F-86K in that spot for 5 years?

two years early is excessive is it not? Gaijin needs to work on transparency significantly if thats the case.

did the hunter controversy stop gaijin looking at argentina being a subtree?

Ye, that would tbf the best IF it ever comes

they can make the SU30 stand on its nose but harriers are still a brick fresh out of the kiln

im praying for it as its my 3rd favourite modern MBT behind the leclerc and my child the streetfighter

as a squadron plane?

they should change the “add on armor” modification for the m4a3a8 to the thunderbolt vii added armor

tbh its that or only the British tree I dont see it ever only going to germany, it was never intended to go into service with germany where as it was a contender for the LEP. if germany suddenly turned around and said that they actually do want the Challenger Rh 130 over the KF51 then yeah sure add it to only germany but realistically isnt gonna happen lol

Never intended for British service either btw and the kf51s currently isn’t even wanted for the bundeswehr
