Why are there still no night fighters for the Japanese Imperial Navy (Aichi S1A1, Nakajima J1N1-S, Nakajima-Sa) and Imperial Army (Kawasaki Ki-45 Kai Bo, Kawasaki Ki-102 Hei)? What about the interim night fighters (Mitsubishi A6M5-S, Mitsubishi Ki-46-III Otsu+Hei, Mitsubishi Ki-46-III Kai, Nakajima Ki-84-I Tei, Nakajima C6N1-S (2x20mm or 1x30mm) Yokosuka D4Y2-S, Yokosuka D4Y3-S, Yokosuka P1Y1-S, Yokosuka P1Y2-S)? Most countries have their own night fighters, but Japan has almost none.

I’ve only actually just realised, since theirs f16’s and F-35’s that have used the IRST and Meteor does this mean with the logic from the Jagm to every nation, that the US variants in the tech tree could receive the IRST for an F16 and Meteor for a F35C or B or am I a bit delusional.
They could but gaijin may decide to add them to their respective nations to make people grind them instead. Some nations in game already have no reason to grind as they have no unique for their air tree or have little to nothing
Gatekeeping isn’t a reason why the average new player chooses a Nation
and tbh the game is better without that
there’s no good point to force players of any nation to grind a different tree so they can play a vehicle their nation uses/used IRL

Either way I feel like the better loadout would 8 spice bombs and 4 agm65g’s which means you don’t really need the targeting pod, is a sad QOL change though.

Yeah in-game the model is incorrect. The TGP pylon is too far in which results in them clipping into each other.
But IRL the pylon for the pod sits further put and is angled which gives plenty of room.
Also in the image used in the report to get SPICE on the Gripen it can be seen with both the TGP and SPICE mounted at the same time.

the fact there’s images of it makes me think we might see it back soon after a few bug fixes, but with gaijin you never know.
Hopefully, since this was removed for being bugged, not inaccurate…
