Next Major Update - Rumor Round-Up & Discussion

I hope not, The Mossies were a big help to the Israeli air force and had quite a few of them as pictured above plus as I said in the post above this could give gaijin an option for them to go down to rank III.
Especially with their subs nations being thought about too.

(They also had the radar variant too)

Definitely not gonna happen soon. J30 has the big nose radar if they add a TT version soon the J30 loses value and the snail would become homeless. Think of the poor snail

Well either way it’s also a good excuse for them to also update the Beaufighter too lol

Without the radar, it was removed. Some got the AN/APS-4 “ASH” sea radar found on that Norwegian mossie ingame. Good engines tho ofc, 4.0 worthy I bet.

Did they still retain the guns ?

Thats hopeful thinking they’ll get their correct engines look at the J30, it doesn’t have its 1650hp engines because snail is lazy

Should be 4x 20mms yeah. Two issue for adding it, one is that the Israelis used the ASH radar as a makeshift air search radar, but ingame when I tried it on the mossie it couldn’t spot anything other than ships, they’d need to change that (fun act, an Israeli B-17 switched out the front turret for that radar). The other issue is the AN/APS-4 required a change to the nosecone to which is was extended in a thin way:

It was documented that this caused from with the intakes and cooling, meaning if modeled correctly the engines should overheat a lot more easily.

(Either one without it or before the modification)

Now imo they should add a IAF Mosquito NF Mk.30 and a IAF Mosquito NF MK.30 “ASH” foldered with it, like what they did with the Norwegian mossies.

Until the NF Mk.30 gets added there’s ofc always the FB Mk.VI and the TR Mk.33 which are already ingame:

(Funnily enough, the Mk.33 had its ASH radar removed, as opposed to the Mk.30 having one added lol. De-navalized really)

Any other mossies get the engines on the xix model?

For the Israelis I don’t believe so. For mossies in general I couldn’t say since I’m no mossie nerd, my information is limited to the IAF configurations and their base versions.

Yeah as I say they got a number of them and they would be a fine addition to help them out since they currently lack a heavy fighter and a CAS platform too.

We need Rank II-III for ground and air so bad man. So much potential with so many options, yet ground is still limited to a 6.3 reserve vehicle and a 4.3 lowest BR vehicle. They’d be great CAS platforms yeah, if there were lineups to use them for that with… but gaijin be gaijin and we don’t really have any. Actually now that I think about it, I wonder if there’s any technical limitations that’s stopping them from finally doing it, like adding those earlier un-present ranks and removing the reserve status from the Sakeen and base M-51

Isreal doesn’t have a Rank III currently. So its somewhat out of place. Unless your taking just the TCM-20, it doesnt have much of an effective CAS benefit.

Its perhaps possible for consideration later. Right now nothing to say on it though.

Well… with only 1 vehicle per update, which is usually C&P, it will take years to fill put another rank for Israel.

Given the two nations that receive the least amount of stuff per year and gaijin not caring about filling out lower br spots on nations that actually need them a lot its gonna be a decade take it or leave it.

I mean that just it though with the addition of the Mossie’s to rank 3 then that will allow the Sakeen to go down and then that relays on the question of having rank 3 for ground too.
