No, im fairly certain they can choose exactly what size tracer it has, I think its a 76mm tracer at the moment.
Im fairly certain it was added so that darts could be seen in the scope without TVD to make the stock grind easier. But there is no justification for that perticular size and they could just make TVD stock instead
When will any new Japanese WW2 tanks be added? For example, the Ho-Ni II, the Chi-To 57mm, the Ka-Ho, even the simple C&P Stuart I? Why is Japan being ignored? No other country has been so ignored in terms of WW2 ground vehicles and aircraft (even Israel received more WW2 aircraft than Japan between 2021 and 2026).

From what I understand, play it like a light tank. Your relatively small, half decent mobility and fairly decent firepower.
Mobility is awfull… It’s slower then the Challanger 2E while having 2x less armour.
The Ariete AMV has a 1500 HP engine compared to the 1300 HP engine of the normal Ariete and Ariete PSO.
So coupled with the lower weight, since it doesn’t have any add on armor packages, should make it’s mobility among the best at 12.7. You jump from 21.8-22.0 HP/ton on the Ariete/Ariete PSO to 27.8 HP/ton on the AMV.
I know. I just test drove it fully spaded. It took a solid 18 seconds to go from 0 to 65 kph.
The AMV is at 12.3, and is among the slowest tanks around it’s br, going only 65 kph - compared to other nations which have around 68 to 75 kph (ofcourse some challies and merkava’s are slower).
Not to forget, while also having the worst armour values at it’s br for it’s vehicle type.
