Why are you comparing ARMs (Anti Radiation Missiles) to regular AGMs (Air to Ground Missiles)?

;-;
Knowing my luck though it’ll be a BP Scorpion 90
What’s the difference? Top-BR aviation is all about destroying SPAA anyway.
Unlike AGMs, it’d be even harder to defend against ARMs as I see it at least.
Most (modern-er) ARMs have proximity fuzes, INS/GPS, the whole thing of no real counter to an ARM besides turning your radar off but even then the INS/GPS previously mentioned makes that hard.
Some have IR/TV seekers as well to lock targets in it’s terminal phase iirc.
Not even to mention stuff like ALARM where it’s designed to loiter above the battlefield till it detects a radar signature.
Only real way of “balance” is the fact that ARMs usually all have their own unique seeker which covers different bands of emission, BUT that’s saying gaijin would take that approach to modeling ARMs.
Its currently Sunday. As we said last week, please stay tuned to the news early next week.
No plans for the foreseeable future. Other aircraft are planned for the Japanese tree currently.
Other new planes? Probably none of them will be Made in Japan, though I’d love to be wrong.
r-27ep boutta be fastest anti radiation missile (mach 6 boom stick against radar emissions yes please)
You are kidding, right?
The KH-38MT can target every kind of ground vehicle, while ARMs can only target SPAAs.
Just because SPAAs are a priority target for CAS doesn’t mean that ARMs would do the same job as regular AGMs. Heck, more often than not the KH-38MT launch platforms don’t even have to worry about SPAAs thanks to the KH-38MTs speed and range.
Long range AGMs are infinitely more useful than ARMs because, well, they are not ARMs.
An ARM that can target planes, truly a balanced addition

Hey Smin, I was curious as to when this bug report for python 5 is going to be implemented?
https://community.gaijin.net/issues/p/warthunder/i/a2MJBVXUUhxZ
The status of the report says fixed however this was 2 weeks ago so I was wondering if this is supposed to be part of a larger group of fixes.
That’s all I do. I rarely destroy tissue; I mostly go after SAMs. So yes, for me personally, the HARM would be a great example of game balance. The USSR has the Kh-38MT, and the US has the HARM, which targets radars.

Have you ever played strategy games? RTS? A high-quality RTS always has balance, but that doesn’t mean all sides have the same weapons. It means one side can have strengths and weaknesses. And I want that to be the case in War Thunder. I don’t want everyone to have the same weapons. The USSR will have powerful Kh-38MT and NATO will have HARM and Longbow.
Are you allowed to tell if these other aircraft are Japanese and perhaps from the WWII era?
Don’t get me wrong. I don’t care where they launch the Kh-38MT missiles. Let them fire at tanks, and let the SPAA intercept all the missiles.
Most likely from Japan sub’s
Sub… submarines, yes?
Don’t get your hopes up about Japanese submarine cruisers with the E14Y and M6A1. I want to have fun burning the Oregon.
Sub NATIONS I mean lol
Hey. This report was resolved before Christmas. The external report was only just updated. But the changes have been on the live server for some time.

There is the 2 agm84 i think ? That f15 take 2 and f18 take 4.
Only i know
