Not this again

Aim120d wont be special, afaik it only gets battery upgrade for range increase

D3 gets a uograded motor, but i am not sure how special that would be

Aim260 and meteor is actually something to worry about

so we will see meteor at the same time russia isnt special and arent getting R-37M by itself lol, the EFTs would probably still be better then the Su35 at that point especially with ASRAAM and IRIST vs R-73M

When will we get the Ki-48 (e.g. Ki-48-II Hei) and Ki-148 tech trees?

Also please dont post slop like this again, do some more research than a single google search or looking at couple of “rcs” images

This is just an absurd lie.

I have looked into it and the RCS of the Su57 is a abysmal

have u tho?

Yes a random person on internet has looked into one of the most extremely classified values regarding 5th gen jet.

We dont know rcs values of ANY 5th gen jet… so better maybe not say wild stuff regarding it.

Looked into it = Talked with my discord friends and we circle jerked about Russia tech bad.

Sukhoi own claim is between 0.1 and 1.0 the best estimates ive seen are around 0.4 to 0.5 the RCS we know of for the Eurofighter is also 0.5

Sukhoi’s own patent claims Su-57 having a design RCS between 0.1 and 1 m2.

That’s comparable to a Super Hornet. Optimistic estimates set it at around 0.5, similar to an Eurofighter.

yeah the Su-57 is no where near a stealth aircraft lmao at best its in the same category of modern 4.5th gens

@Smugspite

RCS is very much dependent on frequency and other factors. An aircraft with an rcs of 0.1 in one measurement could amount to 0.001 in another measurement.

Further, did the patent look at the aircraft unpainted or did it include everything?

The initial claim of the Su-57 being higher than the B-1 Lancer is an outright lie.

…and that’s why Sukhoi themselves already set that range between 0.1 and 1 m2.

There’s nothing to speculate about when the literal manufacturer gives the numbers already, and assuming they are being truthful is generous enough xD

Didn’t answer my question still when I specifically asked what configuration was that Su-57 in?

I will say mixed up RCS there so that one I will admit but a quote on quote “stealth” aircraft having the same RCS of 4.5 gen aircraft is absurdly bad, like I dont think its hidden knowledge that the Su57 has the worst RCS ratings of 5th gens (the J-20 is anywhere between 0.1 and 0.8 so if we take the middle like the Su57 its still more stealth)

So, in order for the aircraft to perform better than the manufacturer states, we need to go on about speculating that this value may have been provided under incomplete or suboptimal conditions?

That’s strange… each time an official NATO number is given, it is deemed to be “propaganda” and “marketing lies”, unless it uses officially confirmed to be outdated information, in which case it’s taken like an absolute up-to-date truth; but when a Russian number is given, suddenly we are to consider that maybe it’s actually better than the number for a number of never-mentioned circumstances.
