F-35 cant carry IR missiles internally to my knowledge
so at that point why even using it, as it defeats the whole purpose of it being a stealth aircraft
russia doesnt really need the su-35
But my point is, if any of these end of the line top best 4.5th gens are to come, then they will drop with new mechanics. Because they are going to be quite the copy paste of certain jets and make them useless.
New mechanic could be IIR missiles on jets for all. Or ECM/EW together. Or whatever…
ECM will probs come maybe this upcoming or the one after

Well, the differences are penadic; they do exist. It’s mostly the MGs used on it. Now I’m not sure what one had the “unbralla thing” as that’s from Afghanistan, where Canada was loaned the German 2A6M before it could get some for itself, which it used to replace the loaned variants.

I sure hope so, other than israel which looks to be in a difficult spot, every other jet surely has good enough ECM capabilities if im not wrong?
i believe so, im not so well versed on israel and their tech
hence why I dont really care about 5th gens (no 5th gen will be able to use IIR missiles internally unless they add lock on after launch)
only way 5th gens are OP is if they make stealth just a bubble of you cant see them

This is my concern “here take Meteor, but against the 5th Gens they cant be used beyond 10km”
oh also giving the Su57 is defiantly functional IRCCM that will have a full 360 coverage making it immune to IIR missiles

Yup. Not looking forward to ASRAAM being useless against the Su-57 whislt their IIR equivalent ignores BOL
I mean realistically the RCS of the Su57 shouldn’t even render it partial stealth (the thing has a larger RCS then the B1 Lancer LMAOO)

RCS is partially modeled, just only applied to like 2 or 3 aircraft/helis for some reason.
But ECM is gunna be the interseting thing if/when it is added
Nah you see Gaijin has some brochure saying it has an RCS of that of a hydrogen atom therefor it will be invisible to all radars at any range. Any other source saying otherwise is a clear marketing lie.

Especially if they include it in some form for ground so we can finally get our MmW weapons.
First a trial run on the Tornado’s with Brimstone and some helicopters like the RAH-66 and the AH-1Z with AGM-114L before a wider introduction of MmW in a later update. Hopefully with the ability to choose the seeker mode before firing so we don’t just end up with the different versions like we have currently.
