Next Major Update - Rumor Round-Up & Discussion

How about Turkey be the face for the Arab united tree like Poland for EE ?

What the US (and all other tech trees) need is all the varients added rather than 1 single new vehicle.

We have 1 single LAV in the US tech tree

I don’t want a subtree in the US. We don’t need to fill spots, we need to get what is already ours, and the stuff that is ours in game that we still haven’t received.

If PL-5EII was added with limited IRCCM, why 9X cant be added to 14.3 planes, but limited to FoV narrowing?

@Deathmisser
Türkiye and Saudi Arabia should not be grouped together in War Thunder because their strategic relationship shifted from cooperation to open rivalry during the 2010s, reflecting fundamentally different political alignments and military interests. While both countries initially opposed Bashar al-Assad during the Syrian civil war, this temporary convergence quickly broke down due to deep ideological disagreements—most notably Türkiye’s support for the Muslim Brotherhood, which Saudi Arabia strongly opposes. This rift became clear after the 2013 Egyptian coup, where Ankara condemned the Saudi-backed overthrow of President Morsi, marking a decisive divergence in regional policy.

Tensions further escalated when Saudi Arabia actively worked against Türkiye on the international stage, including blocking its bid for a non-permanent UN Security Council seat in 2014. The relationship deteriorated even more during the 2017 Qatar diplomatic crisis, where Türkiye openly supported Qatar against Saudi Arabia. By 2018, Saudi leadership publicly labeled Türkiye as part of a “triangle of evil,” discussed sanctions, and took cultural and economic measures against Turkish influence, while Turkish leadership responded with harsh rhetoric in return.

Given this sustained period of political hostility, competing regional ambitions, and lack of military alignment, combining Türkiye and Saudi Arabia into a single faction would be historically inaccurate. In War Thunder, where national trees reflect real-world military doctrine, alliances, and geopolitical positioning, Türkiye and Saudi Arabia are better represented as distinct and separate entities rather than allies.

“Turkish - Arab Relations”

That would be like adding Ukraine to Russia.

No, a quick search on the internet. Read from 2010 to 2020

Modern politics isn’t the face of war thunder and never has so using modern politics is an invalid reason

Imagine how other trees with subtrees feel lol

You can find everything from 2010 to 2020 and beyond. So, how is it ChatGPT?

Yeah, even less domestic equipment.

That’s exactly why we don’t want one. I have seen how sub trees get implemented, no chance in hell I want that.

Well judging on how it was a massive wall of text that appeared out of nowhere with near prefect gammar, it was a bit fair to assume it was ai. But i will admit that i probably did jump the gun a bit too soon.

I’ve been hunting through google scholar for my research papers so many times.
I can quickly C&P walls of texts together, fix spelling mistakes and use APA style references within minutes… XD

we have been asking for brimstone 2s for ages which are the exact same thing but still havent gotten them lol

No nation needs Turkey.
The US, as mentioned by you and others has enough material to remain without a subtree.

Italy already has Hungary and Romania, Turkey would just further dilute that tree with more copy paste slop. Turkey may have a lot of domestic stuff as well, but as we have seen with other subtrees, that stuff rarely gets added.

Other nations aren’t really compatible with Turkey, so Turkey may as well be turned into a support nation, rather than a subtree.

Ukraine is a former part of the Soviet Union and the tree in the game is called USSR, so I don’t see any issue there
