Jokes aside, does anyone know why the FCS module doesnt control anything for MBTs?

For the CRV Proto the FCS module on the X-Ray view shows this:

Meanwhile for the Bhishma it shows nothing:

Some days ago i shot and destroyed the FCS of a T-72B3 iirc, and it instantly shot me back. This is not unique to the T-series, it is the same for both the Abrahams and the Leolopard as well.

Most SPAA and light tanks with internal modules have the same as the CRV Proto, but the only exception for MBTs that ive found is the Italian Leopard 1A5, where the FCS controls the NVD. But this is not present on the german or norwegian 1A5s. Minor nation tax?

Iirc, modules were added to a certain number of vehicles but are not yet used as actual FCS modules until all vehicles get such systems added

I see, so once they get added to the rest of the top tier MBTs as well they will be functional. That makes sense, thanks!

on MBTs is mostly Influences the LRF

Does it? The only MBT i found where it influenced something was the aforementioned italian Leo 1A5, and that was the NVD only.

Did I miss any leaks?

Only the guesses from New Years Eve. Nothing other than those.

Oh right, I forgot about those. Well that’s a lot of subs coming, let’s see… Singapore probably in Israel or several trees, Greece in Israel and Turkiye in Italy I assume?

Yeah Singapore is going to be spreadout throughout the trees as needed, I think they did mention something from Singapore going to Israel when they announced that.

Greece has been confirmed for Israel along with Cyprus also.

And yeah Turkey to Italy seems the most likely since they do house some Turkish vehicles already.

What’s the point of giving Turkey to Italy, when Italy can get Yugoslavia, Romania, and other unique nations, and Israel doesn’t have many options - Turkey is one of them

To put it lightly and not break forum rules about being political the relationship between Turkey and Israel isn’t at their best currently so putting Turkey into Israel would more than likely spark some outrage amongst the respective communities.

Since Italy has already gotten a few Turkish vehicles it does make more sense for it to go there.

Italy already have Romania, Yugoslavia can be a nation in it’s own right or if gaijin want’s to do a funny and pair them up with EE.

I think Smin already said that in the game, nations have nothing to do with what’s happening in the world.

I don’t think Yugoslavia will be made into a separate nation. There are some difficulties, but it would be ideal as a subnation for a full-fledged nation.

I’m thinking more about player reactions. Like when Singapore was going to go to China or (again with China) the Thai VT-4 looking like it was going to go to Japan.

Yes, the reaction of the players is probably the only thing that stops the gaijin from adding the same Ukraine to the game. But as for the VT-4 (or the oplot, I don’t remember exactly), someone from the moderation team (I think it was Smin) replied that what happens in the game should not have any connection to reality. After all, this is a game, and certain techniques or sub-nations are added only when necessary (although this is not always the case :) )

What “difficulties” Yugoslavia is one of the best potential candidates to be the next tech tree in War Thunder.

Well, judging by last year’s leak, all the sub-nations proposed in this topic will be separated into a separate “Eastern European” nation, so Yugoslavia will no longer make sense. It would be better to create a separate Eastern European nation that includes Yugoslavia and offers more opportunities for sub-nations.
