These are light tanks which also provide scouting. We don’t have any current plans to change them to TDs.
The BMPT is also not a light tank.
Future and upcoming plans for vehicles are generally shared in the CM disclosure news. So we are a little way off going into detail about what things are planned for the first update (let alone 2026 as a whole).
are there any plans to give them ammo boxes? the spikes are some of the least reliable weapons Ive used in game and would gladly forfeit scouting to get a total of 8

Air RB peak rewards are much higher than ground RB in terms of RP at least.

And I never said it is, its just wierd because it seems the BMPT/-72 are benefitting from some stuff which should not be the case like
The “External” Belt case, also in an Case of ammo Blowout, (which should be fatal anyway) they keep there ammo unlike every other tank in the game…
They get Arty even tho are TDs…
They get ammo box, because TD while tanks with an similar ammo amount dont get an ammo box, because there they are classed as IFV…

@Smin1080p_WT seeing as the Su-47 Berkut got passed to the devs, does this mean we can make a Real Suggestion for the EAP which than also might get passed (there is currently an Suggestion but its an April Joke version) but its still much closer to being able to use Weapons than the Berkut
Or did the Devs dropped the Idea of Hardpoint having to be Wired for Weapons again?

A bay being able to “open and close” is not enough imo, especially with the fact that there are absolutely zero photos or other types of evidence that it had actual weapons mounted irl. It is not even known that it was wired
The suggestion incorrectly talks about the “14 rails” which you can literally see does not have at all, matter of fact it never had not even 1 of them, and its “radar” which was never fitted (not even going to mention the rear facing radar, as that is literally made up even more), and of course its weapons, which was never mounted on let alone ever specifically specified
The closest ““realistic”” depiction, which is already fiction, would be it just having 2 or so IR missiles inside with no gun at all, because it does not have a radar to use radar missiles
Unless I am missing something crucially here, everything offensive wise is made up, because it never had anything offensive with weaponry or other related things

Idk if classifying it as medium might not just be the better option, as it gives you higher SP-cost and a more relevant SP-penalty.

Which sucks because there are still quite a few planes and variants left to add, like the Su-15, F-102/106 variants, J-7/J-8 variants, or even the Avro Arrow, and quite a few more planes, especially from the Cold War.
The Su-47 is a really cool plane, but it makes no sense to add it while also not allowing the MiG 1.44 or EAP.

Also the F-101s, the A-37B, some more A-6s, plenty French early jets (SE203, SE535…), and many others… it’s ridiculous to add fictional planes when there’s so many historical ones missing

As I say we’ve joked about the EAP for months and months and got repeatedly told NO due to the lack of armement so we turned it into a meme, if the dev’s seriously thinking of adding the Su-47 then I’m sorry the EAP and other must come all in one update if Russia is the first to get 5th gen AND a unarmed demonstrator then muck will hit the fan.
