One thing I am excited about the educated guesses list is that there are 0 Indian vehicle mentions. Never loved the sub"tree".

Ranks usually see a change in either aircraft generation, weaponry, electronics or both.
The F/A-18C late is an improvement over rank VIII in none of those.

Rank 9 would be AESA and (in near future) stealth then, no?

Yeah that is my guess too.
Maybe they throw 4.5th gen aircraft in general like the normal EFTs up there too to create that divide as well, but I’m not too sure about that.
Nah they’ll probably make rank 9 start at 14.3 for most nations (except Sweden because they have 4 vehicles in first line) which is kinda the best option I guess. 14.0 will probably stay there.
By the way what would you even put at rank 8 that would require this much to go to rank 9?

You’re right its the early Ramjet models that would lead to the Meteors creation called RB73
Its more so a joke they never fully completed the RB73 but it paved the way for Meteor to exist

i think that if they buffed ARH seekers and fixed AIM-120 manueverability, 4 meteor + 4 120D + 2 IRIS-T would be ideal. otherwise 4 meteor, 4 ASRAAM, 2 IRIS-T

Big assumption that all Typhoons will have both. Im hoping they’ll create some asymmetry and limit them to one or the other. Though would be hilariously OP to have both.
the Meteor is just better then the AIM-120D why would you limit yourself lol, it would be like taking 4 AIM9Ms and then 2 9Ls

considering they give brimstones to all, and spice I cant see why they would suddenly stop since IRIST and ASRAAM are both integrated
